CWA Woy Woy Branch Woy Woy CWA was founded in 1932. We meet every Wednesday of the month from 9am for craft and chat You don't even have to do craft.

We meet every Wednesday at 9am for craft and chat & every 4th Wednesday of the month at 9:30am for our monthly meeting. We are a well established group with a very historical & well respected background in the Woy Woy area. We have some members that are avid bakers & some that just come along for the social aspect & to help with fundraising and awareness. We help CWA NSW with causes that the CWA is involved in. This can include many varied endeavours, charities and government lobbying. No longer is the CWA about Tea and Scones (though we enjoy that too), so come along and meet us and help us take Woy Woy CWA into the 21st Century. For more wonderful information about the CWA have a look at the CWA NSW website at www.cwaofnsw.org.au

A big thank you to Shayne Davey from Dried Flower Creations

She gave us her time and expertise on wednesday with a Christmas wreath workshop using dried flowers.

Twelve members enjoyed the wreath making as well as a delicious lunch and sweet treats. Tea and coffee flowed freely as well.

Checkout Shaynes FB page for upcoming workshops or email her on [email protected]

Its World Stroke Day today.

Here's a quick reminder that's worth knowing.

Remember F.A.S.T.:

F – Face: Has their mouth drooped?
A – Arms: Can they lift both arms?
S – Speech: Is their speech slurred or difficult to understand?
T – Time: Call 000 immediately.

A stroke is a medical emergency. Even if the symptoms disappear after a few minutes, it's important to call 000 straight away.

Knowing these signs could make all the difference for someone.

Last week's cultural outing was a back stage pass to visit The Art House at Wyong.

Members were treated to a very interesting and informative tour with their guide Steph and Tom the production manager.

It was a great day topped off with a great meal at Club Wyong.

Thanks to Di Trowbridge for organising the day.

Last Wednesday we farewelled our outgoing officers and thanked them for their dedication to the positions they held and congratulated new and returning officers into their roles.

Whilst not all members could be present we still managed to capture some of the new team.

We are looking forward to another fantastic year of all things CWA and community.

Yesterday our Cultural Officer Johanna and Treasurer Glynis made a very important delivery to Ronald McDonald House Family Room Gosford

It was an absolute pleasure to gift them hand made toys, rugs, beanies and snacks. These items are always needed and go a long way in helping families navigate a difficult time in their lives.
