Sunday 15th March looks like a busy day coming up. With birthday parties in the morning and in the afternoon along with other visitors the trains are likely to be very busy.
We run on the first and third Sundays of the month (1st and 15th March) but we will NOT be running on Easter Day, Sunday 5th April. We accept cash or EFT for tickets, a single ticket costing $3 or a ticket at $10 for 5 rides.
Sunday 1st March was a busy day. With three birthday parties in the morning and one in the afternoon along with other visitors the trains were kept very busy. Five trains kept up with demands trying to keep wait time to a minimum.
We notice quite a few passengers wearing thongs or open sandals when we require closed shoes for safety. Please wear closed shoes next time.

The weather gods were extremely unkind on Sunday 15th February and drizzled all day. Wet tracks mean the train driving wheels sometimes can't get a grip and have trouble climbing the gradients. Also most passengers (and all drivers) prefer not to get wet. Therefore as per a post on Sunday the running day was cancelled.
Hopefully the next public running on Sunday March 1st and Sunday March 15th aren't beset with rain.
G’day all.
Unfortunately, we’ve decided to cancel the running day Today (15th February) due to weather. Sorry about that! Hope to see you again in better weather.
Well the running day on 18th January started well, but the rain had other ideas. With a couple of heavy showers and wind, several trees fell over forcing us to close the track for safety.
But we will be back open again on Sunday 1st February for more rides around and across the bridge. As usual, closed shoes please and yes we accept cash or EFT.
Rides start at 10 am and finish around 4 pm.
If you can't make 1st February we will be running again on Sunday 15th February.
Next Sunday, 18th January will be our first public running day for 2026. We are looking forward to running up to the top station and back over the bridge to the main station. As usual please wear closed shoes (I know the weather is hot, but closed shoes please) and bring a smile.

The final running day this year is on Sunday 7th December so come along if you don't want to miss out. After that, the next running day will be on Sunday 18th January 2026.
We accept cash or EFT for ticket sales. With days warming up for summer it is natural to wear open shoes or sandals but it would be much safer if you wore closed shoes rather than thongs or open sandals.
Also rare is 3801 and Garrett 6001 preparing for a double header run.
