Ever needed to report a pothole at 3AM? Thanks to Labor, you can!

On this Day in 1996, Labor Lord Mayor Jim Soorley established the 24/7 Contact Centre, replacing hundreds of different Council phone numbers with just one: 3403 8888.

One simple but significant change to make it so much easier to live, work and play in our beautiful city.

Our team spent this morning out in Runcorn with Julie-Ann Campbell MP, chatting to locals about housing affordability, and Council issues in their area.

Thank you to everyone who answered their door or came out to the community BBQ! It was great to chat!
