WE OFFICIALLY OPEN OUR 34TH WYNYARD TULIP FESTIVAL! ๐ŸŒท

This morning, the Festival officially opened with a performance from the Wynyard Concert Band, a Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony from Treenoner Dance Mob, and an opening address from our Mayor, Dr Mary Duniam.

Council, together with our current Councillors and elected representatives, warmly welcomed our community, visitors and guests as we kicked off one of our municipalityโ€™s most loved community events.

The Wynyard Tulip Festival has a wonderful impact on our community, supporting health and wellbeing, social connection, local businesses, economic development and tourism.

This year marks an exciting new chapter, with the Festival extending into Goldie Street and further into the heart of our C*D. This creates more opportunities for visitors to explore our local businesses, while providing attendees with more sheltered spaces, food, shopping and local experiences throughout the day.

๐ŸŒทA special thank you to all our valued sponsors and supporters who help make the
2026 Wynyard Tulip Festival possible.
We especially acknowledge our Gold Sponsors: Alpha Electrics & Water,
Marcol Construction + Plumbing & Roofing, PowerLinesTas, Tasmanian Advance Minerals,
7BU, Recycle Rewards and our funding partners Tasmanian Waste and Resource Recovery Board and Events Tasmania.

Now, letโ€™s enjoy the Festival! ๐ŸŒท
