SCALES, TAILS & SOME VERY BRAVE KINDERS!

Who knew our Kindergarten students were such fearless little wildlife warriors?!

From creepy crawlies to scaly surprises, our trip to the Australian Reptile Park was an absolute BLAST!

There were squeals, giggles, wide eyes and some seriously brave moments! We are so proud of our Kinders for stepping outside their comfort zones, getting up close with some incredible animals and giving everything a go!

World Teachers’ Day – Celebrating Mr Thompson!

Some teachers just have a knack for making a difference, and Mr Thompson is certainly one of them!

This week, Mr Thompson was recognised at a Central Coast awards ceremony for his excellence in teaching and outstanding contribution to his school community!

Mr Thompson is one of those people who always goes above and beyond. From building fantastic relationships with families and colleagues to volunteering his time and jumping in to support school initiatives, he's always ready to lend a hand.

We're lucky to have Mr Thompson on the Valley View team, and it's wonderful to see his hard work recognised!

Congratulations, Mr Thompson!

HELP US CELEBRATE OUR TEACHING GEMS!

Every school has its gems, and at Valley View Public School, we think we're pretty lucky to have so many!

To celebrate World Teachers’ Day on Friday 30 October, we're inviting our Valley View community to recognise the amazing teachers who inspire, encourage and make a difference every day.

🌟 Is there a teacher who has made your child feel special?
🌟 Someone who has gone above and beyond?
🌟 A teacher who has left a lasting impression?

Now is your chance to give them a shout-out!

The NSW Teaching Gems Map is a statewide celebration of wonderful teachers, and we'd love to see Valley View shining brightly!

💎 Visit the World Teachers' Day website https://world-teachers-day-map.nesa.nsw.edu.au/

💎 Click 'Message' and enter our school postcode 2250.

💎 Add your teacher's initials and a short message about why they're a gem!

All messages are anonymous, and submissions close at 10am on Monday 2 November.
