Lets Explore… Halloween 🎃

Our little explorers got hands on with some spooky spaghetti sensory play, exploring the slippery, squishy textures with lots of curiosity!

We also got creative with our apple print jack-o’-lantern crafts, turning simple apples into some cute and spooky Halloween creations 🎃

There were plenty of little hands getting messy and lots of Halloween fun along the way!

🚧 Let’s Explore Things That Build! 🚧

This week at playgroup, we explored the world of building with chick pea and black bean earth moving equipment sensory play. Scooping, pouring, digging and exploring textures while using construction vehicles to move the earth.

Pasting safety signs and equipment
Creating our own construction signs and decorating equipment while learning about safety, colours and the important people who help build our communities.

There’s so much to discover when little hands get busy building 🏗️

Building Foundations Through Play 🏗️

Playgroup is about so much more than just playing!

Through hands on experiences, sensory exploration, creative activities and time spent connecting with others, our little ones are building the foundations for lifelong learning.

Every little moment, every new experience and every small achievement helps build the foundations for big things ahead.

Because little hands are busy learning, little minds are growing and big things begin with play 👐

Let’s explore… Outdoor Adventures 🌲🏕️

We had a wonderful first week back at playgroup for Term 4! Our little explorers got creative making their own paper binoculars, enjoyed rice sensory play with magnetic fishing and embraced a morning full of fun, discovery and adventure.

It was lovely to welcome back familiar faces and meet new families as we kick off another exciting term together!

Term 4 Let’s Explore…🌲🚗☀️

This term we will be encouraging little explorers to get curious, discover new things, investigate the world around us and have a lot of fun along the way!

From nature and our surroundings to imaginative adventures and hands-on discovery, there will be plenty to explore.

Only one week until we are back, we hope to see you there!

Our playgroup is an opportunity for children aged 0-5 to learn, play and explore while parents and carers connect with other local families and build friendships along the way. Come along and see what we are all about!

Our last playgroup session for Science Term was filled with curiosity and creativity as we explored shadows!

The children experimented with light and colour, creating beautiful shadow shapes with cellophane, then got creative with shadow chalk drawings, discovering how shadows can change and move.

We also finished the term coming together for a shared morning tea, enjoying some delicious treats and celebrating our wonderful little community.

Thank you to all our families for another term of laughter, learning, friendships and special moments.

Have a safe and happy school holiday break , YBPG will be back for term 4 in October 🩷
