For those who work or volunteer in emergency services, the job can come with challenges that aren't always easy to talk about. Sometimes, simply reaching out and starting a conversation can make all the difference!

🗣 Ask - Are you OK? What's been happening?

👂Listen - Keep an open mind and be patient.

🤝 Encourage Action - If they are struggling, help them seek support. CFA offer a Well-being Service for members and their families.

💛 Check in - Stay connected and follow up with a message or another chat.

Today we recognise those who's duty it is to run towards danger when others are told to leave.

On International Firefighter Day, we thank our incredible CFA members and all of those who protect communities in times of crisis and every day in between.

Your courage, commitment and care don't go unnoticed.

On this day, many years ago, Australian & New Zealand troops landed at Gallipoli. It was here they banded together and forged the ANZAC spirit through courage, sacrifice and mateship.

Today, we honour their sacrifice, along with those who continue to serve our countries and the many who stand beside them.

Yarrawonga CFA was proud to be represented in today's parade by both senior and junior members.
