Drawing on her personal experience as a parent of two children with disabilities and her extensive career in early childhood education, Jenny will share insights from her books Embracing Disability in Early Childhood and Mums Thrive On.

The session includes an author talk, audience Q&A, and book sales by .door.books.

Our Pet Painting Party was a great success. Beautiful artwork, lovely pets, and great music made for a wonderful afternoon. Thank you to all the kids who joined us and brought so much creativity to the workshop. See you next School Holidays!

Future aerospace engineers in the making!!
What a wild time we had making, testing, adjusting, retesting, and then decorating our best paper planes.
We had arrowheads, UFOs, classic darts, and some flaming gliders zooming all around the library, with the official competition taking place in the program space where we decided the best decorated, best acrobat, longest flier, and furthest flier!

What a creative group we had in for the Decoupage Diary session! We learned new techniques and made a nice dent in the scrap booking supplies. Every diary came out so different, even when the same paper is chosen, how it is used makes all the difference.
Look forward to next holidays and our next creative programs!

The Yass Valley Library will be open as normal from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, 10 October. Drop in to return items, borrow books, and stock up on your next reading adventure!

Please note, we won't be at the market again until 24 October, so take advantage of this opportunity to visit us.

Our Miniature Polymer Clay Cacti & Succulent Garden Workshop was a wonderful success! The kids showed incredible creativity and made the most adorable miniature gardens. We loved seeing their ideas come to life and are so proud of what they created.

There’s just one more fun-filled week of the school holidays left, and we can’t wait to see you next week! There are still spots available in our Weaving Workshops, so be sure to book before they fill up.
