On January 27, the Baku International Multiculturalism Center (BIMC), the Embassy of the State of Israel in Azerbaijan and the House of Tolerance co-organized an event on "Holocaust through the eyes of contemporaries" to mark the International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

The Executive Director of the Baku International Multiculturalism Centre (BIMC) Ravan Hasanov is on an official visit to Israel.
As part of the visit, the Executive Director traveled to the city of Jerusalem and met with His Beatitude Theophilos III, the Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem.
During the meeting, information was provided on the main principles of the multiculturalism policy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the country’s existing environment of religious and cultural diversity, as well as the efforts undertaken to promote mutual respect and dialogue among different religions. Ravan Hasanov emphasized that Azerbaijan has historically been a place where different religions and cultures have coexisted peacefully.

The Executive Director of the Baku International Multiculturalism Centre, Ravan Hasanov, is participating in the 8th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, held in Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan. The Congress, chaired by the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, is dedicated to the theme “Dialogue of Religions: Synergy for the Future.” More than 100 delegations from 60 countries around the world are taking part in the Congress.

The Executive Director of the Baku International Centre of Multiculturalism, Ravan Hasanov, will deliver a speech on October 1 at the webinar titled “Foundations of Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue: Global Perspectives.”
The webinar, jointly organized by the International Academy for Multicultural Cooperation and the Faculty of Protestant Theology and Religious Studies, aims to explore the core principles, historical development, and international initiatives that shape this field in order to strengthen interreligious and intercultural cooperation and understanding.

Executive Director of the Baku International Multiculturalism Center Ravan Hasanov, will hold a seminar on “Multiculturalism as a Foundation for Diplomacy of the Heart” at the Baskerville Institute in the State of Utah, USA, on October 3.
The seminar, dedicated to law, justice, and cultural diplomacy, is organized within the framework of the Baskerville Institute’s “Diplomacy of the Hearts” initiative.
Diplomacy of the Heart is an initiative of the Baskerville Institute that promotes a people-centered approach to international engagement, grounded in empathy, mutual respect, and authentic human connection.
