For the opening of Child Montn a church service was held at St. John the Baptist Church.

Rev. Wayne MCD Kirton BSS, J.P encouraged the children present to not let where they come from or where they live determine their future.

He also encouraged the adults to support the children as well as their parents to help children thrive.

The Digital Series Segement 4

May is a special time as we celebrate Child Month. This year we continue to focus on protecting childhood through strong families caring communities and safer digital spaces.

The Social Empowerment Agency, Child Care Unit, hosted Part 1 of The Digital Series Workshop under the theme " Keeping Children Safe in Digital Spaces", with students from 10 schools.

This workshop provided children with knowledge and skills to help them navigate safely in digital spaces.

The Child Care Unit will also be hosting other workshops with parents and guardians and educators.

The Digital Series Segment 2: Guiding Safe Gaming Habits
