Heritage Month was launched at Tyrol Cot Heritage Village! Invitees received a night tour of the Tyrol Cot House. Heritage awards for Recognition for Contributions to Heritage were presented by Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office with responsibility for Culture Senator Dr. Shantal Munro- Knight and Dr. Sheron Johnson, Cultural Policy Expert within the Division of Culture in the Prime Minister’s Office to: William "Billy" Harold Gollop, Dr. Karl Watson, Sir Henry Fraser, Morris Greenidge, Trevor George Marshall
Amongst the presenters were Hon. Secretary of the Barbados National Trust Gordon Ashby, Jason Bharath Site Manager of Tyrol Cot Heritage Village, Sherne Alleyne Site Manager of Morgan Lewis Windmill and Taro Singh Digital Consultant for the Trust. Take a look at some of the photos!

Today for World Hunger Day, Tyrol Cot was proud to be one of the venues for the Government's give back programme, offering free meals to hundreds of bajans. Pictured is Minister of Tourism G.P. Ian Gooding-Edghill

On Sunday, Tyrol Cot was happy to host the Community Give Back Programme for the constituents of St Michael North East from the offices of Mia Amor Mottley Prime Minister Hon. Miss Mia Amor Mottley , bringing some Christmas cheer to persons via large portions of delicious Bajan Christmas lunches.
