Industry-Oriented Skills & Innovation Workshop | Successfully Completed
IT Business Incubator (ITBI), CUET successfully hosted the Industry-Oriented Skills & Innovation Workshop, a one-day intensive program aimed at strengthening industry-academia collaboration and enhancing practical skill development.

The workshop featured technical sessions on Mobile App Development and Python (Django) with Server Deployment, along with a professional development session on Time Management and Productivity. Participants also explored the incubator through a guided tour, gaining firsthand insights into the startup ecosystem and innovation environment at ITBI.

The program concluded with a formal closing ceremony, graciously presided over by Prof. Dr. M. Moshiul Hoque, Director, ITBI, CUET, who delivered an insightful address and presented certificates to the participants, trainers, and organizers.

The IT Business Incubator (ITBI), CUET, will host a 1-day Industry-Oriented Skills & Innovation Workshop on 17 February 2026, aimed at providing practical industry exposure to participants through structured technical and professional sessions. The program includes sessions on Mobile App Development, Python (Django) backend development with server deployment, a soft skills session on time management and productivity, and an incubator tour to introduce participants to the startup and innovation ecosystem. The workshop will conclude with certificate distribution.

Asian University for Women (AUW) "Industrial Visit" has been completed at CUET IT Business Incubator.

Presidency University's "Industrial Tour" has been completed at CUET IT Business Incubator. A total of five sessions were held here over three days.

Drone Workshop at ITBI CUET: A Step Towards Innovation

The IT Business Incubator, CUET, in collaboration with Diligite Ltd., successfully organized the “Drone Workshop: Introduction to Robotics, IoT, and Drone Building”.

The event aimed to improve students’ practical knowledge in emerging technologies through hands-on sessions on IoT project development, robot car demos, drone assembly, and calibration techniques.

The Certificate Distribution Ceremony was graced by the presence of distinguished guests. The Honorable Vice-Chancellor (In-Charge) of CUET, Professor Dr. Quazi Delwar Hossain, attended as the Chief Guest.
The CEO of Innovation Lab, USA, Professor Dr. Sharif Uddin Ahmed Rana, and the CEO of Diligite Ltd., Md. Mosharraf Hossain joined as a Special Guest.
The event was chaired by the Director of IT Business Incubator, CUET, Professor Dr. M. Moshiul Hoque.

Technical sessions were conducted by S. M. Fahim Faysal, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechatronics and Industrial Engineering (MIE), CUET, and Md. Minhazul Islam, R&D Engineer, Diligite Ltd., whose expertise made the workshop engaging and impactful.

Free Training Program on ‘AI for Immersive Technology’ with this 6-month (288-hour). This initiative is proudly led by the Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority (BHTPA) under ICT Division.

This project is a revolutionary opportunity for students and professionals who want to learn about Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), and Immersive Technologies like Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Mixed Reality (MR), and Extended Reality (XR).

Eligibility: Open to graduates from any discipline or profession (3rd & 4th-year students also welcome).

Selection Process:
Applicants will take a basic Assessment to secure their place in the program.
