এক শকুনের বাচ্চা তার বাপের কাছে বায়না ধরলো,"বাবা, আমি মানুষের মাংস খাব!"

শকুন বলল--"ঠিক আছে বেটা, সন্ধ্যার সময় এনে দেব। শকুন উড়ে গেল আর আসার সময় মুখে এক টুকরো শুকরের মাংস নিয়ে এসে বাসায় রাখলো ।

বাচ্চা বলল--"বাবা, এটা তো শুকরের মাংস, আমি মানুষের মাংস খেতে চাই।"

বাপ বলল --অপেক্ষা কর বাবা!

শকুনটা আবার উড়ে গেল আর আসার সময় এক মরা গরুর মাংস নিয়ে এলো।

বাচ্চা বলল --"আরে এটা তো গরুর মাংস নিয়ে এসেছ, মানুষের মাংস কোথায়?

এবার শকুনটা দুটো টুকরো একসাথে মুখে নিয়ে উড়াল দিল আর শুকরের মাংসটি একটা মসজিদের পাশে আর গরুর মাংস একটা মন্দিরের পাশে ফেলে দিয়ে চলে এলো!

কিছুক্ষণের মধ্যেই সেখানে শুরু হলো দাঙ্গা! কয়েকশ মানুষের লাশ পড়ে গেল! তখন গাছের ডাল থেকে নেমে বাপ-বেটা মিলে খুব তৃপ্তিতে মানুষের মাংস খেল।

বাচ্চাটা খেতে খেতে জিজ্ঞেস করছে-- "বাবা, এত মানুষের মাংস এখানে কি করে এলো ?"

শকুন বললো -- "এই মানুষ জাতটাই এরকম। সৃষ্টিকর্তা এদেরকে সৃষ্টির সেরা জীব মানুষ হিসাবে সৃষ্টি করেছেন, কিন্তু ধর্ম আর রাজনীতির নামে এদেরকে আমাদের থেকেও হিংস্র বানিয়েছেন...! "

বাচ্চা বললো তুমি ধর্মকে ব্যবহার করলে কেন, কতগুলো নীরিহ লোক মারা গেল , রাজনীতি করলেই পারতে!

বাবা হেসে উত্তর দিল, তাতেও নিরীহ লোকগুলোই মারা পড়তো! ধর্মটা আবেগের যায়গা তাই ফলাফলটাও তাৎক্ষণিক! তুমি আজই খেতে চেয়েছিলে! রাজনীতি টা কুটিল এবং জটিল, এটি শুরু হতে সময় নেয় কিন্তু হলে আর থামেনা!

বাচ্চা বললো- "তোমার অনেক বুদ্ধি, বাবা"

শকুন-"আরেহ, ধুর! এটা তো আমি মানুষের কাছ থেকেই শিখছি, এদের একটা অংশ যখনই কোন অনিষ্ট করার চেষ্টায় ব্যর্থ হয় তখনই সহজ রাস্তা হিসেবে হয় ধর্মকে নয়তো রাজনীতিকে ব্যবহার করে!!

চট্টগ্রামের প্রাকৃতিক সৌন্দর্যের মধ্যে অন্যতম হলো কক্সবাজারের দীর্ঘ সৈকত, হালিশহরের পাহাড়, সীতাকুণ্ডের ঝর্ণা, এবং চট্টগ্রামের বিভিন্ন মন্দির ও ঐতিহাসিক স্থান। চট্টগ্রাম বন্দরের কারণে এটি দেশের অর্থনীতির অন্যতম মূল চালিকা শক্তি। এখানকার শিল্প, ব্যবসা, এবং পর্যটন খাত দেশের অন্যতম শীর্ষস্থানীয়।
