এ বছরের প্রতিপাদ্য: “Overcoming disruption, transforming the AIDS response”
লক্ষ্য—এইচআইভি প্রতিরোধ ও চিকিৎসা কার্যক্রমকে আরও শক্তিশালী ও কার্যকর করা।

এইচআইভি দেহের রোগ প্রতিরোধ ক্ষমতা ধীরে ধীরে দুর্বল করে দেয়; সঠিক চিকিৎসা না পেলে এটি এইডস-এ রূপ নেয়। প্রতিদিন বিশ্বে প্রায় ৫,৫০০ মানুষ নতুন করে আক্রান্ত হয়—যাদের উল্লেখযোগ্য অংশই ১৫–২৪ বছরের তরুণ।

আসুন, বিশ্ব এইডস দিবসে—

“Let’s Clean Our City” — SOS Youth Council Clean-up Campaign

Venue & Date: CRB, Chattogram — 09 July 2025

To raise awareness about keeping the city clean, SOS Youth Council, in collaboration with SOS Youth Village, organized a special clean-up campaign under the slogan “Let’s Clean Our City.” Nearly 100 SOS youths actively took part in this initiative.

The event was graced by Mohammad Moshiur Rahman ( Village Director, SOS Children’s Village Chattogram), Zahidul Islam (Assistant Director), and Md. Shafiullah (In-charge & Assistant Director, SOS Youth Village).

Sonia Sultana, Director of the Department of Environment, attended as the Special Guest. In her remarks, she praised the youth, stating:
🌿 “The active participation of young people in keeping the city clean is truly admirable. Such initiatives not only help protect the environment but also play an important role in building social awareness.”

Throughout the day, participants collected scattered plastic, paper, and other waste from the CRB area of Chattogram. They also engaged with local residents, encouraging them not to litter and to maintain cleanliness in their surroundings.

The organizers highlighted that the main goal of this initiative was to inspire the younger generation to protect the environment and to promote the importance of cleanliness among city dwellers. They expressed their belief that regular programs like this can help build a cleaner, healthier, and more livable city.

Members of the SOS Youth Council also shared their views:
💬 “A clean city not only enhances beauty but also ensures healthy and safe living. Active youth participation is the key to making this change possible.”

The Department of Environment welcomed the initiative, commended the organizers, and encouraged the continuation of such activities in the future.

Happy Mother's Day❤️

SOS Children Village Chattogram celebrated a beautiful event with our mothers. Our village director, Mr. Moshiur Mama, our elder sisters and brothers, and our younger brothers and sisters were present there, and everyone shared a lot about their love for their mothers, and we ended our program beautifully. Thank you all for supporting us.
