সাইবার সিকিউরিটি কি?

সাইবার অপরাধ তথা ইন্টারনেট এবং কম্পিউটার ব্যবহারের মাধ্যমে সংঘটিত অপরাধ এখন বিশ্বব্যাপী বিস্তার লাভ করেছে। সাম্প্রতিক সময়ে তা ক্রমাগত বেড়েই ইন্টারনেটে হয়রানির শিকার হওয়ার ঘটনা ছাড়াও হ্যাকারদের দখলে চলে যাচ্ছে অনলাইন এ্যাকাউন্ট, ই-মেইল, ওয়েবসাইট। সাইবার ক্রাইমের মধ্যে রয়েছে প্রতারণা, ক্রেডিট কার্ডের নম্বর চুরি, ব্ল্যাকমেইল, পর্ণোগ্রাফি, হয়রানি, হুমকি দান, সাম্প্রদায়িক উস্কানি প্রভৃতি। সাইবার অপরাধীদের শিকারে পরিণত হয়ে আর্থিকভাবে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হওয়া, সামাজিকভাবে হেনস্তা হওয়া, সাম্প্রদায়িক সংঘাত সৃষ্টি, এসবের সাথে প্রাণনাশের নজিরও রয়েছে।

কী কী ধরণের সাইবার ক্রাইম হয়ে থাকে?

সাইবার সন্ত্রাসকে দু’ধরনের অপরাধমূলক কর্মকান্ডে ভাগ করা সম্ভব –

১। ইন্টারনেটের মাধ্যমে কম্পিউটার নেটওয়ার্ক অবকাঠামোকে সরাসরি আক্রমণ।

২। ইন্টারনেটের মাধ্যমে ব্যক্তি ও জাতীয় নিরাপত্তা ব্যত্যয় ঘটানো।

এ দুই শ্রেণীভুক্ত যে সব অপরাধ ঘটতে পারে সেগুলো নিম্নরূপ

- ভাইরাস আক্রমণ।

- ব্যক্তি, প্রতিষ্ঠান বা রাষ্ট্রীয় ওয়েবসাইট হ্যাকিং।

- মেলওয়্যার স্পামিং বা জাঙ্ক মেইলঃ এটি সম্পূর্ণই মেইল ভিত্তিক।

-ভুয়া আইডি/ই-মেইল অ্যাড্রেস ব্যবহার করে নাম-ঠিকানা, ক্রেডিট কার্ড নাম্বার এমনকি ফোন নাম্বার নিয়ে প্রতারণার চেষ্টা করবে অপরাধী চক্র।

-সাইবার হয়রানি - ইমেইল বা ব্লগ বা ওয়েবসাইট ব্যবহার করে হুমকি দেয়া, ব্যক্তির নামে মিথ্যাচার/অপপ্রচার,নারী অবমাননা, যৌন হয়রানি।

-ফিশিং - লগইন/অ্যাকসেস তথ্যচুরি,বিশেষত ই-কমার্স,ই-ব্যাংকিং সাইটগুলো ফিশারিদের লক্ষ্যবস্তু হয়ে থাকে।

-অর্থ আত্মসাৎ -ইন্টারনেট থেকে তথ্যচুরি করে ব্যাংকের এক অ্যাকাউন্ট থেকে অন্য অ্যাকাউন্টে অর্থ স্থানান্তর একটি উদাহরন।
আইনশৃঙ্খলা রক্ষাবাহিনীকে ফাঁকি দিতে ইদানিং ইন্টারনেট ব্যবহার করে মাদক ব্যবসার প্রবনতা বেড়েছে।

-পাইরেসি - সদ্য প্রকাশিত গান ও সিনেমার এমপিথ্রি বা মুভি ফাইল ইন্টারনেটে শেয়ার হয়ে যাচ্ছে ।

-ইন্টেলেকচুয়াল প্রপার্টি - ব্লগ ও ওয়েবসাইট থেকে কোন লেখা ও ফটোগ্রাফি সহজেই কপি-পেস্ট করে নিজের নামে চালিয়ে দেয়ার প্রবনতা বেড়েছে সাইবার কমিউনিটিতে ।

-পর্ণগ্রাফি - পর্ণগ্রাফি ইন্টারনেটে ভয়ঙ্করভাবে বেড়েছে।

-ব্যক্তিগত তথ্য-পরিচয়-ছবি চুরি ও ইন্টারনেটর অপব্যবহার বেড়েছে।

-হ্যাকিং - বাংলাদেশেও ওয়েবসাইট হ্যাকিং ব্যাপক ভাবে বেড়েছে।

-ক্র্যাকিং - ক্র্যাকিং হলো গুরুত্বপূর্ণ তথ্য কিংবা ক্রেডিট কার্ড নাম্বার চুরি করে গোপনে অনলাইন ব্যাংক থেকে ডলার চুরি করা।

মাননীয় প্রধানমন্ত্রী কর্তৃক সাইবার পুলিশ সেন্টার এর অনুমোদন।

সিআইডির অভ্যন্তরে এ সেন্টারে ১ জন ডিআইজির নেতৃত্বে ৩৪২ জন লোকবল নিয়ে অতি দ্রুতই এর কার্যক্রম শুরু হতে যাচ্ছে। উর্ধ্বতন কর্তৃপক্ষের নির্দেশনায় এবং অর্গানাইজড ক্রাইম ইউনিটের ঐকান্তিক প্রচেষ্টায় চূড়ান্ত অনুমোদন পেল এ ইউনিট। জনগনের সেবায় ও সাইবার ক্রাইম দমনে এ ইউনিট আগামি দিনে অগ্রনী ভূমিকা পালন করবে।

Cybercrime is a global threat, and the preparations against it are comprehensive all over the world'


Bangladesh Police is stepping up its fight against crime initiated or perpetrated on the internet by launching a Cybercrime Investigation Bureau (CCIB).

Although initially undertaken to tackle rumours spread via the web and especially through social media, the planned new unit will also investigate all cases related to cybercrime, according to sources at Police Headquarters.

“Cybercrime is a global threat, and the preparations against it are comprehensive all over the world,” additional DIG at the Police Headquarters, SM Akteruzzaman, told the Dhaka Tribune.

“We will need a lot of preparations to operate the bureau but if all goes well, the journey will start soon. Later, according to the needs of the time, the bureau’s jurisdiction will increase.”

Earlier on Wednesday, September 26, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr Mohammad Javed Patwary instructed law enforcement agencies to ramp up social media and internet security ahead of the Hindu religious festival Durga Puja.

As part of its work, the new unit will reportedly monitor thousands of social media accounts and extend technical and intelligence support to other law enforcement agencies.

“The initiative was taken after a few vested groups tried to create instability in the country by spreading rumours during the recent road safety movement on social media,” a police source said on condition of anonymity.

“After this incident - which started after two college students were killed by a bus in Dhaka - the government realized the importance of launching a dedicated police unit that could prevent cybercrimes by monitoring internet activities.”

The source said the government thinks the same vested groups will use the internet to create an unstable environment as the 11th parliamentary election approaches.
