Recognizing the economic importance of tourism for Bangladesh, under the dynamic leadership of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the present government has developed the basic infrastructure to give tourism a boost. It has also formed a Tourist Police unit under the Bangladesh Police, to ensure the safety and security of tourists as well as to protect the environment and ecological sustainability of our natural wealth.
