The France Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCIFB) hosted a warm and engaging Iftar Get-Together on Sunday, 8 March 2026, at the prestigious Sheraton Dhaka. The event brought together esteemed members of the chamber, distinguished representatives from the business community, and presidents and senior officials from various bilateral chambers operating in Bangladesh.

The evening was marked by cordial interactions, networking, and discussions on strengthening trade and investment ties between Bangladesh and France, as well as with other global markets represented by the bilateral chambers. The presence of the guests highlighted the importance of collaboration and partnership within the business ecosystem.

In his remarks, the CCIFB President Mr. Md. Muin Uddin Mazumder expressed gratitude to the guests for their participation and continued support of the chamber’s initiatives.

Guests appreciated the opportunity to connect in a friendly and relaxed environment during the holy month of Ramadan. The evening concluded with the Maghrib prayer followed by Iftar and dinner, allowing participants to continue their conversations and strengthen professional ties

The 8th CCIFB Board Meeting was held on Thursday, 8th May, 2025 at the Chamber Office. CCIFB President, Mr. Md. Muin Uddin Mazumder, Vice-Presidents, Mr. Zahir Ahmed and Mr. S.M. Rahman, Treasurer, Mr. Deepok Kumar Baral, Board of Directors, Mr. Obaidur Rahman, Engr. Md. Kabirul Huque, Mr. Salimul Haque Essa, Dr. Md. Ershad Hussain Rana and Mr. Md. Tafazzul Hossain attended the meeting.

CCIFB Annual General Meeting 2024 (AGM No. 27) Concludes Successfully

The 27th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the France Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFB) was held on Thursday, 13th March, 2025, at 4:30 PM at the Crowne Plaza Dhaka Gulshan (Ballroom). The event provided a platform for CCIFB members to come together to reflect on the Chamber's accomplishments over the past year and to discuss its strategic goals for the future. The meeting featured an in-depth review of the Chamber's activities and financial performance over the past year. Attendees were also briefed on the strategic objectives for the upcoming year, with a focus on expanding bilateral trade, fostering innovation, and supporting the growth of French businesses in Bangladesh.

In his closing speech, the President of CCIFB expressed sincere thanks to all members for their continuous support and commitment. He emphasized the growing potential for further strengthening trade ties between France and Bangladesh, setting an optimistic tone for 2025 and beyond.

The AGM marked a pivotal moment in the Chamber’s ongoing efforts to foster a thriving business environment and solidify its role as a key player in bilateral relations.

The 7th CCIFB Board Meeting was held on Tuesday, 25th February, 2025. CCIFB President, Mr. Md. Muin Uddin Mazumder, Vice-Presidents, Mr. Zahir Ahmed, Director and Mr. S.M. Rahman, Treasurer, Mr. Deepok Kumar Baral, Board of Directors, Engr. Md. Kabirul Huque and Mr. Md. Tafazzul Hossain were present at the meeting.

Meeting with Executive Chairman of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA)

A delegation of France Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCIFB) headed by its President, Mr. Md. Muin Uddin Mazumder along with Vice-Presidents, Mr. Zahir Ahmed and Mr. Syed Mustafizur Rahman, Treasurer, Mr. Deepok Kumar Baral and Executive Director, Ms. Lulu Mahfuza paid a courtesy call on Executive Chairman, Mr. Chowdhury Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) at his office on Monday, 24th February, 2025 to discuss potential avenues for collaboration between the CCIFB and BIDA in exploring fresh prospects for strengthening business ties.
