On 4 July 2024, INCIDIN Bangladesh and UNODC handed over the ICT Materials for setting up the online reporting platform on Human Trafficking to the PSD, Ministry of Home Affairs to strengthen it's capacity on preparing and publishing Trafficking in Person (TIP) Country Report. INCIDIN Bangladesh extended technical assistance to the Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) with the support of GloAct Bangladesh of UNODC. Additional Secretary Abu Hena Mustafa Zaman, MoHA; Deputy Secretary, Ish*ta Roni, MoHA; A.K.M. Masud Ali, Executive Director, INCIDIN Bangladesh; Mahdy Hasan, Tasneem Binte Karim and Sharif Hossain, UNODC; and officials of INCIDIN Bangladesh including Rafiqual Islam Khan, Rafiul Ali and Syed Shariful Haque were present at the event.

আজ ৪ জুলাই, ২০২৪ (২০ আষাঢ়, ১৪৩১) ইনসিডিন বাংলাদেশ ও ইউএনওডিসি- গ্লোঅ্যাক্ট স্বরাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয়ের জননিরাপত্তা বিভাগের নিকট তথ্য প্রযুক্তি সংক্রান্ত কিছু সামগ্রী ও উপকরণ হস্তান্তর করে। এই সকল সামগ্রী মূলত মানব পাচার সংক্রান্ত অনলাইন ডাটা বেইজ ও মানব পাচার কান্ট্রি রিপোর্ট প্রস্তুতে ব্যবহৃত হবে।
উপকরণ হস্তান্তর সভায় উপস্থিত ছিলেন স্বরাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয়ের জননিরাপত্তা বিভাগের অতিরিক্ত সচিব জনাব আবু হেনা মোস্তফা জামান এবং উপসচিব জনাব ঈশিতা রনি, ইনসিডিন বাংলাদেশের নির্বাহী পরিচালক জনাব এ.কে.এম. মাসুদ আলী, ইউএনওডিসি প্রতিনিধি জনাব মাহাদী হাসান, জনাব তাসনিম বিনতে করিম ও জনাব শরীফ হোসাইন। হস্তান্তর সভায় ইনসিডিন বাংলাদেশের পক্ষে আরও উপস্থিত ছিলেন জনাব রফিকুল ইসলাম খান, জনাব রাফিউল আলী ও জনাব সৈয়দ শরীফুল হক।

We organized a school campaign on the Prevention of Human Trafficking and Introducing a One-Stop Digital Service Center during COVID-19 at United National School and College, arranged by the implementing partners INCIDIN Bangladesh and TdH NL supported by the US Department of State on 21 September 2023. The session was attended by 45 participants including 21 female and 23 male students from Class 9. Our Community Campaigner, INCIDIN Bangladesh discussed trafficking risks, and how to prevent it and introduced the One-Stop Digital Service Center at Ati Bazar, Keraniganj. The National Emergency Hotline 999, Child Support Hotline 1098, National Helpline Center number for Violence against Women and Children 109, and new probashbondhu number 16135 were also shared with the participants. After the discussion, the INCIDIN team conducted a quiz test among the participants and distributed prizes among the winners with the help of their honorable Head Teacher. 😍 🖤

আজ বিশ্ব মানব পাচার বিরোধী দিবস।

মানব পাচার একটি জঘন্যতম অপরাধ যা সকল মানব অধিকার লঙ্ঘন করে। বিশ্বজুড়ে লাখ লাখ মানুষ, বিশেষ করে নারী ও শিশুরা এ ভয়ানক অপরাধের শিকার, যা তাদের উপর দীর্ঘস্থায়ী শারীরিক ও মানসিক প্রভাব ফেলে।

👉 তাই এ ধরনের কোন ঘটনা সন্দেহ হলে অবিলম্বে পুলিশের কাছে অভিযোগ করুন, অথবা ৯৯৯ বা ১০৯৮ নাম্বারে ফোন করুন।

পাচারের শিকার সকল ব্যক্তিদের প্রয়োজনীয় সহায়তা দিতে আমরা সরকারকে যথাযথ পদক্ষেপ নেওয়ার আহ্বান জানাই। 🙏

"On 1st June 2023, foreign representatives of our partner organisation Terre des Hommes Netherlands, came to visit the One-stop Digital Service Center at Ati Bazar, Keraniganj. They also paid a visit to Konda Union Parishad and met the Counter-trafficking Committee members there along with a group of victims of Human Trafficking. They appreciated the work we are doing and the impact of OSDSC in Keraniganj Upazilla."
