Can people really be healthy if they’re drinking polluted water, breathing dirty air, or living in close quarters with disease-carrying animals? The answer is no.

That’s why the approach—recognizing that the health of people, animals, and the planet are deeply connected—is key for people and the planet. After all, a clean environment benefits everyone.

This week, experts are gathering in South Africa for , one of the largest global forums dedicated to this critical health issue.
