The Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC) is a voluntary organization that aims to develop discipline, leadership, and patriotism among the youth of Bangladesh. The roots of BNCC date back to the British colonial period, when the University Officers’ Training Corps (UOTC) was established in 1920 in the Indian subcontinent to train students in basic military skills.

After the partition of India in 1947, the organization was reorganized in Pakistan as the Pakistan Cadet Corps (PCC). Following the independence of Bangladesh in 1971, the organization was restructured and officially renamed as the Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC).

BNCC operates under the joint supervision of the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Education. It includes students from schools, colleges, and universities, providing them with military training, physical fitness programs, and opportunities to participate in national events and social services.

Over the years, BNCC has played a significant role in building responsible citizens by promoting discipline, leadership qualities, and a strong sense of national identity.

Motivational Message for Cadets

Dear Cadets,

Being a part of BNCC is not just an activity—it is a matter of pride and honor. You are the future leaders of the nation, and through your dedication, discipline, and commitment, you carry the spirit of Bangladesh forward.

Always remember that wearing the BNCC uniform means standing for integrity, courage, and service. Challenges may come your way, but they are opportunities to grow stronger, smarter, and more confident.

Stay disciplined, respect your leaders, and support your fellow cadets. Keep pushing your limits and never stop believing in your potential. One day, your training and values will help you serve the nation in meaningful ways.

“Discipline, Leadership, and Patriotism—let these guide your journey.”

Happy Anniversary to all BNCC Cadets!⚔️🇧🇩🫡

Today, 21st February, is a proud and emotional day for us. On this day, we remember the brave language martyrs who sacrificed their lives in 1952 to protect our mother tongue, Bangla. Their courage and love for their language gave us the right to speak in our own words freely.
Because of their sacrifice in Dhaka, 21st February is now recognized worldwide as International Mother Language Day by UNESCO.
Language is not just a way of communication; it is our identity, culture, and pride. Today, we promise to respect our mother tongue and honor all languages around the world.
Let us remember the martyrs with gratitude and continue to protect the dignity of our language.🇧🇩⚔️.

16 December – Victory Day of Bangladesh 🇧🇩

Victory Day is celebrated on 16 December every year to mark the historic victory of Bangladesh in the 1971 Liberation War. On this day, the Pakistani army surrendered to the joint forces of the Mukti Bahini and Indian Armed Forces, bringing an end to nine months of war.

This day symbolizes freedom, sacrifice, courage, and national pride. We honor the martyrs who gave their lives for independence and remember the birth of sovereign Bangladesh. Victory Day inspires us to protect our freedom and work for a just, prosperous nation.⚔️
