Combat Cyber

Cyberbullying is not just a word but the collection of hassles that a person might go through via online social medias. Most of the people bullies consciously but insentiently, people might do something or say something that goes against the boundary line.

Cyberbullying has types which are:
1.Impersonations that includes creating fake profiles, social media accounts or even emails to mislead people.
2. Cyberstalking i.e. consistent intrusive online presence, texting through different accounts, disturbing by repetitive contact, tracking of personal information etc.
3. Doxing and outing comprises leakage of personal information without permission i.e. phone number, address, email address, public platforms. These leads to embarrassment, discrimination, harm.

Our sole aim remains unwavering the eradication of cyberbullying from society. We firmly believe in the power of youth to make a difference, and that's what drives us every day.

Dear friends and supporters,

We are thrilled to announce the return of Combat Cyber after a two-year sabbatical! Since its inception in 2021, we have been committed to combating cyberbullying and creating a safer online environment for everybody. We used our break to organize, reflect, and plan for an impactful return.

Recently Some students from BAF Shaheen College Dhaka 1st year participated in a competition named " Shikriti "held there based on 21st February organized by one of their reputed club BAF Shaheen College Dhaka Writers' Club

These talented minds along with the theme of 21st February brought the topic "Cyber Bullying" to the people. Their main initiative was to make people aware how they use their day to day language in online platforms. The misuse of Bengali language as well as the misuse use of communication sometimes resulting in cyber bullying was their main theme to potray in this wall magazine. The magazine securing the First prize in the competition owes a whole hearted congratulations from Combat Cyber .
