হাম প্রতিরোধে সচেতন হোন, আপনার শিশুকে সুরক্ষিত রাখুন
বর্তমানে দেশে হামের প্রাদুর্ভাব লক্ষ্য করা যাচ্ছে, যা শিশুদের জন্য অত্যন্ত ঝুঁকিপূর্ণ হয়ে দাঁড়িয়েছে। সামান্য অসতর্কতায় হামের কারণে শিশুর মৃত্যু পর্যন্ত হতে পারে। তাই এই রোগ সম্পর্কে সঠিক তথ্য জানা এবং প্রতিকারমূলক ব্যবস্থা নেওয়া আমাদের সকলের দায়িত্ব।
হামের লক্ষণগুলো চিনে নিন (৩-সি মনে রাখুন):
১. তীব্র কাশি
২. সর্দি ও নাক দিয়ে জল পড়া
৩. লাল চোখ বা চোখ ওঠা এসবের পাশাপাশি শরীরজুড়ে লালচে দানা বা Rash দেখা দিলে দ্রুত ব্যবস্থা নিন।
হাম কেন ভয়াবহ?
একজন আক্রান্ত ব্যক্তি থেকে ১৮ জন সুস্থ মানুষ সংক্রমিত হতে পারে।
শরীরে Rash ওঠার আগেই এই রোগ ছড়ায়।
সঠিক চিকিৎসা না হলে নিউমোনিয়া, অন্ধত্ব এমনকি মস্তিষ্কের ক্ষতির মতো জটিলতা দেখা দিতে পারে।
আমাদের করণীয়:
টিকা নিন: সঠিক সময়ে হাম-রুবেলা (MR) টিকা নিন। এটি সম্পূর্ণ নিরাপদ।
ভিটামিন-এ: আক্রান্ত শিশুকে চিকিৎসকের পরামর্শ অনুযায়ী ভিটামিন-এ খাওয়ান।
সুরক্ষা: মাস্ক ও গ্লাভস ব্যবহার নিশ্চিত করুন।
আলাদা রাখা: আক্রান্ত শিশুকে আলাদা রাখুন এবং দ্রুত বিশেষজ্ঞ চিকিৎসকের পরামর্শ নিন।
আতঙ্কিত না হয়ে সচেতন হোন। আপনার সামান্য সচেতনতা একটি শিশুর জীবন বাঁচাতে পারে।সচেতনতা ছড়িয়ে দিতে সবার সাথে শেয়ার করুন।

সম্প্রতি সারা দেশে হামের সংক্রমন বৃদ্বি পেয়েছে। হাম থেকে নিরাপদ রাখতে বাংলাদেশ সরকারের উদ্যোগে ৬ মাস থেকে ৫ বছরের কম বয়সি সকল শিশুর জন্য টিকাদান ক্যাম্পেইন আগামীকাল ২০ শে এপ্রিল থেকে শুরু হচ্ছে।
হাম থেকে আপনার শিশুকে সুরক্ষিত রাখতে নিকটস্থ ইপিআই টিকাদান কেন্দ্র হতে বিনামূল্যে আপনার শিশুর ১ ডোজ টিকা গ্রহণ নিশ্চিত করুন।
আর দেরি নয়, আপনার শিশুকে অবশ্যই এই ক্যাম্পেইন এ হাম-রুবেলার টিকা দিন, আপনার শিশুকে নিরাপদ রাখুন। সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধিতে সকলের কাছে পৌছে দিন।
