Notre Dame Humanitarian Club

On 26 November 2025, we held our session “Rational Mind, Humanity Hearts: Where Mathematics Meets Humanity” in collaboration with Notre Dame Math Club.

We were honored to have Md. Rezaul Karim, Lecturer, Department of Mathematics, Notre Dame College, Dhaka, as our distinguished speaker. His reflections on the connection between mathematics and empathy offered an inspiring perspective. Besides, our club moderator Md. Ataul Wahid Rupok also shared his valuable insights on the theme.

A token of appreciation was presented to the honored speaker at the end of the session.
This collaboration marked a meaningful achievement for Notre Dame Humanitarian Club.

For the first time, Notre Dame Math Club and 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐫𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 have collaborated to bring you a session like never before. We present to you the special session “𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝, 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬: 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲”.

Step into the gallery on 𝟐𝟔 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 at 𝟏𝟐:𝟎𝟎𝐏𝐌 in 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝟒𝟑𝟏, where numbers resonate with heartbeats, and equations find their voice in the value of shared humanity. Just as equations are filled with beauty and truth, we imagine a world where people stand as equals and spread their compassion in a world of decreasing ideals. Just as symmetry makes the mathematical world magical, through this session, we will envision a human world where everyone stands with a light heart and a dream of helping others.

Join us on this special collaboration as we focus our minds on something very diverse, where we bring our hearts together and work towards shifting our hopes from the imaginary plane to the real plane. Just as math is pure in its pursuits, we all need a pure heart for humanity. To reiterate that commitment, mark your calendars as we focus on a tale of cooperation, compassion and humanity.

With great enthusiasm and thoughtful participation, our seminar “Awakening Humanity,” presented by the Notre Dame Humanitarian Club, concluded successfully on October 22, 2025.

In the gracious presence of our Principal, Dr. Father Hemanto Pius Rozario, CSC, Club Moderator Md. Ataul Wahid Rupok, respected teachers and around 150 students, the seminar became an inspiring platform for reflection and learning.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Sayedul Ashraf Kushal (MD, FJSPN, MBBS; Founder and CEO, Lifespring) for joining us as the Guest Speaker and sharing his profound insights and motivational words with our students.
Also, our sincere thanks to Ms. Badrunnesa Amin Mona (BS, MS in Psychology, DU) for her engaging and insightful discussion that enriched the session further.

The “Awakening Humanity” seminar truly embodied the spirit of compassion, awareness, and moral growth — values at the heart of the Notre Dame Humanitarian Club. Together, we continue our journey toward building a more humane and empathetic society.

Notre Dame Humanitarian Club expresses its deepest sorrow and solidarity following the tragic incident of Milestone College at 21 July 2025.
We mourn the loss of lives and extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected, and we sincerely hope for the swift recovery of the injured.

গত ১৯ শে জুন ২০২৫, রোজ বৃহস্পতিবার নটর ডেম মানবিক সংঘের আয়োজনে অনুষ্ঠিত হয় নবসূচনা-২০২৫ অনুষ্ঠান।

অনুষ্ঠান শেষে নটর ডেম মানবিক সংঘের পক্ষ থেকে কলেজ প্রাঙ্গনে খেটে খাওয়া মানুষদের মাঝে ৩০ প্যাকেট খাবার বিতরণ করা হয়। মানবিক সংঘের ২৫ ব্যাচের শিক্ষার্থীরা কলেজের আশেপাশে বিতরণ করেন এই খাবার সামগ্রী।

খেটে খাওয়া মানুষদের মাঝে এক মুঠো খুশি ছড়িয়ে দিতে পেরে নটর ডেম মানবিক সংঘ সত্যিই আনন্দিত।

আজ, ১৯ শে জুন ২০২৫, রোজ বৃহস্পতিবার, নটর ডেম মানবিক সংঘের আয়োজনে অনুষ্ঠিত হয় "নবসূচনা-২০২৫"

এই আয়োজনে বিদায় জানানো হয় ২৪ ব্যাচের সম্মানিত কার্যনির্বাহী পরিষদকে এবং আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে দায়িত্ব গ্রহণ করেন ২৫ ব্যাচের নবনির্বাচিত সদস্যরা। পাশাপাশি অন্ত:কলেজ প্রতিযোগিতা "মানবিক মনন" এর পুরস্কার বিতরণী সম্পন্ন হয়।

অনুষ্ঠানটির আয়োজন করেন নটর ডেম মানবিক সংঘের ২৫ ব্যাচের সদস্যদরা। সার্বিক তত্ত্বাবধানে ছিলেন নটর ডেম মানবিক সংঘের মডারেটর জনাব আতাউল ওয়াহিদ রুপক।

নবীনদের কাঁধে দায়িত্ব অর্পণের মাধ্যমে নতুন এক যাত্রার সূচনা হলো। এমন একটি সৃজনশীল ও হৃদয়ছোঁয়া আয়োজন করতে পেরে নটর ডেম মানবিক সংঘ গর্বিত ও আনন্দিত। আমরা আশা করি, আগামী দিনগুলোতে মানবিক মূল্যবোধে উজ্জীবিত হয়ে সংঘ আরও দূর এগিয়ে যাবে।
