"Sincere Intentions Travel the World!" 🌐

This Thursday, our Founder, Mahiat Shan, was privileged to be one of the student presenters who shared their stories in the Department of Marketing & International Business's (DMIB) inaugural Annual Magazine 2025-26 unveiling ceremony, convened by the department Chair, North South University.

Mahiat, who authored in the Magazine and also contributed to its illustrations and Logo design, went on stage to share his journey of starting a small social impact project that led to several global feats, leading up to his recent selection as a Global Youth Ambassador at Theirworld.

The event was graced with the presence of the honorable Vice-Chancellor, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Treasurer, Dean of SBE, and the distinguished Faculties and Teaching Assistants of DMIB. It concluded with the honorable VC recognizing the intuitive publications and acknowledging the various accomplishments of all guests.

We express our heartfelt gratitude to the DMIB Chairperson, Dr. Khandker Nahin Mamun, who pioneered this Magazine and event, and to our beloved Faculty Advisor, Dr. Tamhid Ul Islam, who was our guidance and support throughout!

Our Founder was one of 20 university students nationwide invited to engage in a youth-level parliamentary discussion on "Just Energy Transition in Bangladesh" at the University of Dhaka. Mahiat delivered a presentation on the opportunities and limitations of Renewable Energy for Bangladesh, addressing a crowd of local youth leaders, governmental organization leaders, politicians, and the media. He represented North South University as its only speaker in this national-level event organized by the Consumer's Association of Bangladesh (CAB). This is a huge milestone for Impact Diplomats in local green activism.
