MIST Central Library

On the 104th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Children's Day 2024, the drawing competition was held at the Bangabandhu and Bangladesh corners of the Central Library of MIST.

32 children and teenagers participated in the competition in 3 age groups. Group 1 (5-8 years) 11, Group 2 (8-12 years) 13, and Group 3 (12-15 years) 8, total 32 children's have participated in the competition.

Col Morshed, Head of Department of Science and Humanities presented the award to all the participants.

Workshop for Systems Librarians

BRAC University Ayesha Abed Library conducted two workshops for Systems Librarians from 11-14 May and 20-21 May, 2015. A total of 42 library professionals from 40 public and private universities and research institutes in Bangladesh participated in this workshop. Representatives from University Grants Commission and Bangladesh INASP PERii Consortium were also present in the workshop. Both workshops were funded by INASP, UK.
