🇧🇩 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗜𝗚𝗘 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗟𝗮𝗴𝗼𝘀 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮 🇳🇬
The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Foundation Bangladesh proudly participated in the International Gold Event from 15 to 18 November 2025 and the Forum 2025 from 19 to 22 November 2025 held in Lagos Nigeria.
Our Chairman 𝗠𝗿. 𝗥𝗶𝘇𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗾 attended the Forum and IC meetings spending a week engaging with global leaders Award experts and inspiring delegates from around the world. With over 𝟯𝟬𝟬 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 including 𝗛𝗥𝗛 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗘𝗱𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝘂𝗸𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗵 the event brought together the global Award family to share innovations impact and future directions.
During the Chairmans' Meeting Mr. Farouq presented Bangladesh’s unique implementation model one that extends beyond schools to universities vocational training institutions a cricket academy and sports clubs. This pioneering approach received exceptional appreciation with many countries expressing interest in adopting a similar model.
✨ 𝗔 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗡𝗔𝗢 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲.
We are equally delighted to see 𝗜𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗯𝘂𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗴 Gold Award Holder and the first female President of DEA IUB and a student of Independent University, Bangladesh represent Bangladesh at both the IGE and Forum alongside delegates from 55 countries. Her leadership and dedication continue to inspire young people across the nation.
Together our Chairman and youth representative showcased the strength impact and innovation of Bangladesh within the global Award community. 🇧🇩🌍

Gulshan Youth Club and The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Foundation Bangladesh have entered into a strategic partnership to support and empower young people through skill development, physical fitness, and holistic growth. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Tuesday, 11 November 2025, marking the beginning of a collaborative initiative to engage youth in the globally recognised Award Programme.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Rizwan Bin Farouq, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Foundation Bangladesh, and Dr. Wahiduzzaman (Tamal), President of Gulshan Youth Club. Mr. Mirza Salman Ispahani, Honorary Secretary of the Board of Trustees of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Foundation Bangladesh, and Mr. Mehadi Hasan, Secretary General of Gulshan Youth Club, were present as distinguished witnesses at the signing ceremony.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Rizwan Bin Farouq said, “The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award has long stood as a symbol of personal growth and leadership among young people. Through this partnership, we are extending that opportunity to more youth, enabling them to unlock their potential, gain essential life skills, and make meaningful contributions to their communities.” Expressing his optimism about the initiative, Dr. Wahiduzzaman (Tamal) said, “Gulshan Youth Club has always been dedicated to engaging the youth through sports, education, and social initiatives. Partnering with The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Foundation Bangladesh adds an exciting new dimension to our efforts to develop leadership and community spirit among young people.”
Mr. Mirza Salman Ispahani highlighted the broader significance of the collaboration, stating, “This partnership reflects our shared commitment to nurturing well-rounded, responsible, and confident young citizens. Together with Gulshan Youth Club, we aim to create a positive platform where young people can challenge themselves, serve others, and develop the qualities needed to lead with purpose.”
Both organisations share a vision of creating opportunities for youth to realise their full potential, become active citizens, and contribute positively to society.

The Award Leaders’ Work-in-Group Conference 2025 brought together Award Coordinators and Award Leaders from 22 institutions across Bangladesh for two days of collaboration, reflection, and learning in Cox’s Bazar.
Through discussions, sharing experiences, exchanges ideas, and troubleshooting sessions, participants explored how the Award continues to empower young people, build character, and transform lives.

120 Bronze Award participants from BRAC University took on the challenge and conquered it! 💪
From 22–23 September 2025, they completed their Adventurous Journey at Sarah Resort, Gazipur, pushing limits, solving problems, and discovering the power of teamwork along the way.
