The Notre Dame College Rover Scout Group recently held an impactful crew meeting focused on two crucial initiatives: our Bangladesh Scout Identification (BS ID) campaign and raising vital Dengue Awareness.
As Rovers, it is our duty to stand beside our community. By identifying spreading safety guidelines to prevent dengue, we are taking small steps to make a big difference. Stay safe, stay prepared, and let's keep looking out for one another!

For every person on earth, a mother is the first teacher, the guiding light, and a unique embodiment of selfless service.

As Scouts, the core inspiration and foundation of our commitment to serving society and the nation stem from a mother's affection and sacrifice. On the occasion of World Mother's Day, the Notre Dame College Rover Scout Group extends its deepest respect and heartfelt greetings to all the compassionate mothers of the world.

May a mother's prayers and ideals be the guiding force for our journey ahead.

Happy Mother's Day!

"A jug fills drop by drop." — Gautama Buddha 🕊️

On this auspicious day of Buddha Purnima, the Notre Dame College Rover Scout Group (NDCRSG) reflects on the profound triple-blessed event: the birth, enlightenment, and Mahaparinirvana of Lord Buddha.
As Rover Scouts, our motto is "Service." This aligns beautifully with the Buddha's teachings of Karuna (Compassion) and Metta (Loving-kindness). Just as a Scout strives to leave the world a little better than they found it, the Dhamma encourages us to find peace within ourselves so that we may spread peace to others.

Today, let us renew our pledge to serve humanity with a pure heart and a steady mind. May the moonlight of this Purnima wash away all darkness and fill our lives with the wisdom of the Middle Way.

Happy Buddha Purnima to our fellow students, teachers, and the entire Scouting community! 🌕🙏

Service isn't just a badge we wear; it’s a commitment to the community we build together. ⚜️

On International Workers' Day, the Notre Dame Rover Scout Group salutes the backbone of our nation—the laborers, the creators, and the unsung heroes who work tirelessly behind the scenes. Just as we strive to "Be Prepared" to serve, we honor those whose daily dedication keeps our world moving forward.

Happy Workers' Day to all the hands that shape our future!

Group Meeting Report: Notre Dame College Rover Scout Group

Date: April 29, 2026

The regular group meeting of the Notre Dame College Rover Scout Group was successfully held today. The session focused on enhancing the practical scouting skills of the participating Rovers. The key highlights of the training are as follows:
First Aid: The session covered essential life-saving techniques, including how to respond quickly to emergencies and the correct methods for applying bandages and managing minor injuries.
Knotting: As a fundamental part of scouting, Rovers practiced various essential knots. The training emphasized the precision of making knots and understanding their specific applications in the field.
Lashing: Participants were given hands-on training on square and diagonal lashing. These skills are vital for pioneering projects and constructing sturdy structures during camps.
Hiking: A special segment was dedicated to hiking, where the principles of navigation, track signs, and the importance of endurance and discipline during a long journey were discussed.

The enthusiasm of the Rovers was commendable throughout the session. These practical skills are crucial for preparing our members to be "Service Ready" in any situation.
