Dear people of the earth,
It is with a heavy heart that we bring to your attention the devastating flash floods and landslides that struck northern Nepal on the 26th of August. The disaster, centered around the Trishuli river and Nuwakot district, unfolded with such sudden and overwhelming force that it was initially registered as seismic activity. Numerous individuals have been rescued, countless lives have been lost, and a great many families have been left without shelter.
As a community that holds compassion and empathy at its core, we believe this is a moment that calls for our collective response. We humbly urge each of you to consider extending support, in whatever capacity possible, through established and credible relief organizations actively engaged in providing aid to those affected. For those unable to contribute financially, we kindly ask that you help raise awareness by sharing this message within your own circles. In moments such as these, solidarity and collective action can make a profound difference in the lives of those who have lost so much. Let us stand by their side, together.
