Currently Bangladesh enjoys LDC benefits like preferential trade access, concessional finance, and development aid. By delaying graduation, it retains these advantages, which can help maintain global investor confidence in the short term. However, some investors may also view the delay as slower progress, which could affect perceptions of Bangladesh’s readiness for a fully competitive global market.

LDC benefits will largely depend on how effectively Bangladesh uses this additional time to prepare for full graduation.

একটি দেশের সরকার দুর্নীতিগ্রস্ত হলেও শেষ ভরসা থাকে মিডিয়া।কিন্তু যখন মিডিয়াই আপস করে, সত্যের বদলে সুবিধার ভাষা বলে, তখন সেই দেশের মানুষের সামনে আর কোনো আশার জানালা খোলা থাকে না। তাই সরকারকে প্রশ্ন করার পাশাপাশি মিডিয়াকেও প্রশ্ন করতে হবে।

মিডিয়া নিরপেক্ষ কি না সে বিষয়ে সতর্ক দৃষ্টি জরুরি।

ভালো শাসন এবং জবাবদিহি প্রতিষ্ঠান নিজে নিজে তৈরি হয় না, এটি ঘটে শিক্ষিত এবং সচেতন নাগরিকদের মাধ্যমে। যখন মানুষ তাদের অধিকার জানে, সরকার কিভাবে কাজ করে বোঝে এবং মিথ্যা খবর চ্যালেঞ্জ করে, তারা প্রোপাগান্ডা চিহ্নিত করতে পারে, এবং নেতাদের জনগণের জন্য কাজ করতে বাধ্য করতে পারে।

শিক্ষিত নাগরিক একটি দেশের গণতন্ত্রকে রক্ষা করার এবং নেতাদের একাউন্টেবল রাখার সবচেয়ে শক্তিশালী হাতিয়ার।

যে দল ক্ষমতার লোভে একবার আদর্শের সঙ্গে আপোষ করে, সে দল ভবিষ্যতে স্বার্থের খাতিরে দেশকেও আপোষের টেবিলে তুলবে নাএর নিশ্চয়তা কোথায়? আজ যদি নীতি ত্যাগ করে লক্ষ্য অর্জন করা বৈধ মনে হয়, কাল সেই একই যুক্তিতে জনগণ, রাষ্ট্র, এমনকি সার্বভৌমত্বও দরকষাকষির বিষয় হয়ে উঠতে পারে। ক্ষমতার পথ যদি আদর্শহীন হয়, তবে ক্ষমতায় গিয়ে নীতিবোধ টিকে থাকবে এমন আশা করা কঠিন।

তাই ভোট দেওয়া উচিত তাদেরই, যাদের আদর্শ আছে, নীতি ও নৈতিকতায় যাদের অবস্থান স্পষ্ট, এবং যারা ক্ষমতাকে লক্ষ্য নয়, দায়িত্ব হিসেবে দেখেন।

Politics is a mirror it reflects the character of its citizens. A society that tolerates wrongdoing just because it serves its own preferences will eventually become a victim of that same injustice.

রাজনীতি আসলে আয়না যেখানে নাগরিকের চরিত্র দেখায়। যে সমাজ নিজের পছন্দের অন্যায় মেনে নেয়, সে সমাজ একদিন নিজেই অন্যায়ের শিকার হয়।

সব রাজনীতি মিছিলে হয় না, কিছু রাজনীতি হয় নীরবতায়। যখন অন্যায় দেখে চুপ থাকি, যখন “আমার বিষয় না” বলে পাশ কাটাই, যখন প্রশ্ন করাকে ঝামেলা মনে করি তখনও আমরা রাজনীতি করি।

রাষ্ট্র বক্তৃতায় বদলায় না ,রাষ্ট্র বদলায় নাগরিকের মানসিকতায়।

ক্ষমতাবান রাষ্ট্র, সরকার, কর্পোরেশন বা এলিট গোষ্ঠীরা মিডিয়া, শিক্ষা, ভাষা ও সংস্কৃতির মাধ্যমে মানুষের চিন্তা–ভাবনা এমনভাবে গড়ে তোলে, যাতে মানুষ নিজে থেকেই ক্ষমতাবানদের সিদ্ধান্তকে কোনো ধরনের প্রশ্ন না করেই সমর্থন করে। জোর করে কিছু চাপিয়ে দেয়া হয় না, বরং মানুষকে এমনভাবে ভাবতে শেখানো হয়, যেন সিদ্ধান্তগুলো তাদের নিজেরই।

A family in the United States has filed a lawsuit against OpenAI and Microsoft, saying that ChatGPT played a role in a tragic murder-su***de.

An 83-year-old woman named Suzanne Adams was killed by her 56-year-old son, Stein-Erik Soelberg, at their home in Connecticut. After killing his mother, the son took his own life. The lawsuit claims that ChatGPT made the man’s mental health problems worse. According to the case, the chatbot supported his false beliefs instead of correcting them. It allegedly made him believe he was being watched and that his mother was trying to harm him.

The family says months of conversations with ChatGPT strengthened his paranoia and helped push him toward violence. This case is part of a growing number of lawsuits in the US. Other families have also claimed that ChatGPT encouraged self-harm or su***de, including a case involving a 16-year-old boy.

The lawsuit also accuses OpenAI of releasing a new AI model too quickly, without enough safety testing.

✅ জাতীয় শিক্ষক বেতন কাঠামো প্রণয়ন• সরকারি ও এমপিওভুক্ত শিক্ষকদের জন্য সমন্বিত ও ন্যায্য বেতন স্কেল নির্ধারণ।

✅ এমপিও নীতিমালার সংস্কার• বেসরকারি শিক্ষকদের এমপিও অন্তর্ভুক্তির প্রক্রিয়া সহজ ও স্বচ্ছ করা।

✅ পেশাগত উন্নয়ন ইনসেনটিভ• প্রশিক্ষণ, পদোন্নতি ও কর্মদক্ষতার ভিত্তিতে বোনাস প্রদান।

✅ বাজেট বরাদ্দ বৃদ্ধি• শিক্ষা খাতে বাজেটের অন্তত ২০% শিক্ষক কল্যাণে বরাদ্দ নিশ্চিত করা।

✅ নিয়মিত মূল্যায়ন ও পর্যালোচনা• প্রতি ৩ বছরে একবার শিক্ষক বেতন কাঠামোর মূল্যায়ন ও হালনাগাদ।
