It was established by Lily Khan, wife of Amzad Khan in 1965 with 4 Japanese Toshiba machine as the first factory in East Pakistan to fulfill the demand of uPVC Pipe. In 2005 Government of Bangladesh wants to go for privatization for this sector. At that time it was purchased by K. Alamgir Iqbal , Managing Director of LIRA SAMRAT GROUP. After joining as a sister concern of LIRA SAMRAT GROUP, Lira Industrial Enterprise Ltd. is increasing its market share and trying to fulfill the customer’s demand by providing quality products. For this it was necessary to expand the PVC mould fittings into MAONA and it is inaugurated as LIRA POLYMER INDUSTRIES LTD. As a new plant, it is now a great source of employment and it is providing quality of PVC mould fittings to customers. As a result the product variation is also increasing day by day.
