We are growing over 27 districts and comprised of farmers, workers, women, indigenous communities and youth movements.

DBM aims to democratize and decentralize the planning and budgetary process of Bangladesh by ensuring people’s direct participation in the decision making process of the state. Democratic Budget Movement, locally known as 'Gonotantrik Budget Andolon' alias DBM, is a social movement supported by grassroots citizens, opinion leaders, academia, media, youth and social institutions since 2009 to mobilize people’s voice for decentralization of national budget.
