Disaster Preparedness for Effective Response.
SOS National Training Centre (NTC) Dhaka organized three days Training on - "Humanitarian Essentials for Emergency Response" on 5th - 7th May 2026 .
To implement this project effectively Emergency Response Team (25 Co workers) of SOS Children's Villages Bangladesh participated in this training program.

SOS National Training Centre ( NTC) Dhaka organized 1st batch Mother's Refresher Training Course of 2026 from 26-30 April 2026.
16 Mothers from six locations of SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh have taken part in this five days Training Course.
Md Masud Rana Masud, Deputy National Director- SOS Children's Villages Bangladesh and Mohammad Yousuf Ali, Project Director- SOS Children's Village Dhaka were present in the opening session.

Safe Places, Thriving Children: Embeding Trauma - Informed Practices into Alternative Care Settings of SOS Children's Villages International is the significant Milestone on mental health ground.
To support and equipped participants to implement a trauma-informed approach at work places with Children and Young people in alternative care who are affected by trauma, providing with a safer environment and aiding their recovery ----SOS National Training Centre Dhaka successfully completed the 03 Days TIP training and TOT on 3-5 August 2025 for SOS Coworkers of SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh.The training was inaugurated by the speech of Mr. Md Enamul Hoque, National Director of SOS Children Villages Bangladesh.
Ms. Hasina Parveen, Deputy Director and In-Charge of SOS National Training Centre and Ms. Tanusree Bose Soma, Officer SPO facilitated the whole session.

SELF HELP PLUS ( SH+)

All over the world people face numerous forms of adversity, difficulties and challenges of work place, Personal & family related stress, Violence, disease, pandemic and lack of socio economic opportunities that affect every individual.
To provide quality care and better service for SOS participants, SOS Caregivers and Co-Workers need to be skilled to manage their Stress.
SH+ is a low intensity, Tran’s diagnostic, easily adaptable intervention ( A Module developed by WHO) for managing stress and coping with adversity, developed for Adults.
