After careful consideration, I, Maysha Anjum am resigning from my position as General Secretary of YCS Khulna, effective immediately.
This decision comes after reflecting on my experience within the organization, particularly regarding challenges in organizational structure, communication, and overall working environment. While I have always tried to fulfill my responsibilities with dedication, it has become increasingly difficult to continue effectively in the absence of clear direction, supportive leadership and a collaborative atmosphere.
I believe that for any individual to grow and contribute meaningfully, the environment must be aligned with professionalism, respect and mutual accountability elements I have found to be lacking over time.
I am grateful for the experiences and lessons gained during my tenure and wish the organization the best in its future endeavors.

After a period of observation, ex*****on and internal alignment, we Ahnaf Shahriar Rafi (Treasurer, YCS Khulna & Campaign Manager of “Zero Olympiad”), Appurbo Hasan Taj (President, YCS Khulna), and Shafin Sikder (Vice President, YCS Khulna) have made the collective decision to resign from YCS, effective immediately.
This decision reflects not a moment of frustration, but a conclusion drawn from consistent patterns.
During our tenure, we were entrusted with responsibilities that required structure, accountability and leadership clarity. While we remained committed to delivering outcomes, it became increasingly evident that the surrounding environment did not operate on the same standards.

Over time, several gaps became difficult to rationalize:

• Strategic direction that frequently shifted without alignment or measurable rationale
• Expectations that were communicated without the corresponding systems to support them
• A noticeable imbalance between authority and demonstrated competence at higher levels
• An organizational culture where contribution and recognition were not proportionate
• Recurring operational inefficiencies that were normalized rather than addressed

Individually, these may appear manageable. Collectively, they define a system that is not built for sustainable growth or credible ex*****on.

We believe that effective organizations are not defined by intent, but by discipline, clarity and the ability to translate vision into structured action. Unfortunately, that alignment was not present.

As professionals, we choose environments where accountability is mutual, leadership is demonstrated not assumed and impact is both understood and valued. Remaining in a system that consistently falls short of these fundamentals is not a responsible use of our time or capability.

This is, therefore, a decision made with clarity and without hesitation.

We acknowledge the experience gained, but we do not intend to continue within a framework that does not meet the standards required for meaningful work.

We move forward independently, with a clear understanding of what effective leadership and organizational integrity should look like.

Rafi has been an essential pillar of our organization, ensuring that every initiative we undertake is supported with financial transparency, responsibility and careful planning. His ability to manage financial operations with accuracy and integrity plays a crucial role in helping YCS continue its mission of creating meaningful impact.

Through his discipline, leadership and professional mindset, he has shown what it truly means to be a responsible Treasurer. From maintaining financial records to ensuring proper fund management and accountability, his work reflects dedication and trustworthiness.

Beyond his official role, Rafi is also known for his supportive nature, teamwork and positive attitude, which inspire those around him. His presence strengthens the organization and motivates others to work harder for the goals we share.

On this special day, we wish him good health, continued success and even greater achievements in the years ahead. May this new year of life bring him more opportunities to grow, lead, and inspire.
