Response to Mayaak Madhieu Deng's accusations

Dear our beloved citizens of Northern Bahr el Ghazal State and South Sudan,
It has come to our attention that Ustaz Mayaak Madhieu Deng is circulating fake news against our Minister Hon. Santino Bol Akok.

Ustaz Mayaak Madhieu is using social media as his platform for fabricating the false and baseless propagandas against our able State Minister of General Education, Hon. Santino Bol Akok after the suspension of DG and other directors, which does not hold realities and evidences.

Mayaak Madhieu is working in Aweil East County Education Department (County HQRs). We didn't expect him to turn his fight against his own Minister. He is just aiming to damaging the reputation of Hon. Santino Bol Akok.

Therefore, we call upon our fraternity, the education family and all citizens to condemn his plan of tarnishing the name of the Hon Santino Bol Akok.

Our Minister is working closely with the Acting DG, and H.E Simon Uber Mawutdit, the Governor of Northern Bahr el Ghazal State, with the aim of achieving sustainable and quality education in NBGS. The Ministry of General Education is embarked on improving the quality of teachers for quality education.

Please don't rely on the false information being circulated online by Mayaak Madhieu Deng. It is fake news.

Hon Santino Bol Akok is one of the most trusted Ministers in the State leadership of Governor Simon Uber Mawutdit. He cannot be against anybody who is working with him.

We condemn it in strongest terms possible.

PICTORIAL: today, 13th May, 2024, (Aweil) the first term examinations for lower classes have started in Northern Bahr el Ghazal State.
Hon. Santino Bol Akok, State Minister of General Education and Instruction, made a tour to Aweil Town schools in order to monitor the progress of the first term exams.

Saturday 11th of May 2024,

Aweil-H.E, Tong Akeen Ngor Governor of Northern Bahr El Ghazal State has officially opened the secondary schools Teachers’ examination at the State Ministry of General Education and Instruction headquarters.
The teachers screening examination is being administered and set by Rumbek University of Science and Technology’s Administration.

Addressing the media, Governor Tong appreciated and applauded Hon. Awut Deng Acuil the National Minister of General Education and Instruction for her tireless efforts exerted in transforming General Education and spearheading the education reform program so that the quality education is achieved in the country.

In addition, the Governor applauses the lecturers and the Administration of Rumbek University for setting and administering the secondary school teachers’ examination aiming to assess and evaluate the qualification of teaching forces in the state.

Lastly, Governor Tong acknowledged the great roles that have been played by teachers across the State and urged them to focus and do their exams in concentrating manners.

PICTORIAL: The lecturers from University of Rumbek arrived in Northern Bahr el Ghazal State a head of examinations of secondary education teachers which is scheduled to take place tomorrow in Aweil Town. The lecturers (examiners) briefed Hon Santino Bol Akok, the State Minister of General Education and Instruction in his office, on the readiness of the examinations, which is expected to kick-off tomorrow exactly at 9:00am in the Ministry's headquarters.

Pictorial view on the official luaching: on Tuesday, February 13th 2024, Hon. Santino Bol Akok, Northern Bahr el Ghazal State's Minister of General Education and Instruction has launched the renovation of Aulic primary school under Aweil Town Manicipality.

The Minister was accompanied by Ustaz Santino Bol Akot, the Director General of the State Ministry of Education, and representative of the NBGS Specialized Committee on service cluster in the State Legislative Assembly.

Aulic residents turn up in huge numbers to witness Hon Santino Bol Akok launching the renovation of school.

The event was attended by executive director of ACDF, which is an implementing partner, the county education director for Aweil Town Manicipality, chiefs, and teachers among many others.
