FICAC is a global network of Consular Associations created to support and improve the status, legitimacy and effectiveness of all consular officers in all receiving states. FICAC, also called World Federation of Consuls which was founded in Copenhagen on 2 October, 1982.
In 14th World Congress of Consults organized in Marrakech, Morocco on 29th October to 1st November, Mr. Asif A Chowdhury re-elected as a Vice President for next three years term 2025-2028.

On behalf of the Honorary Consulate of Chile in Bangladesh, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the people of Chile on the occasion of our Day.

The 18th of September marks a proud and historic moment in our nation's journey — a celebration of Chile’s independence, resilience, and rich cultural heritage. It is a time to honor our past, reflect on our achievements, and look forward to a future of continued progress and unity.

As we commemorate this important day, I would also like to recognize and appreciate the growing friendship and cooperation between Chile and Bangladesh. Our shared values and mutual respect continue to strengthen the ties between our peoples in the fields of trade, culture, and diplomacy.
