We tried to explore their knowledge in the following areas:

1. Oral Health Education
👉 We assessed their understanding of basic oral hygiene practices, including regular tooth brushing, use of clean water, and knowledge about common oral diseases such as dental caries and gum infections.

2. Communicable Diseases
👉 We evaluated their awareness regarding the causes, prevention, and control of communicable diseases such as tuberculosis, diarrhea, and respiratory infections. Emphasis was given on personal hygiene and vaccination awareness.

3. Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs)
👉 We explored their knowledge about major non-communicable diseases like diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease. We also observed their understanding of risk factors such as poor diet, lack of physical activity, and to***co use.

4. Nutrition
👉 We reviewed their awareness about balanced diet, sources of essential nutrients, and the impact of malnutrition. We also checked if they could differentiate between healthy and junk food.

5. School Health Education
👉 We observed how school children were informed about basic health, hygiene, nutrition, first aid, and the importance of physical exercise. We also checked if the school had any regular health education programs or materials.

As part of our community health nursing activities, we visited Shahjalal Government Primary School to educate the students on essential health topics. Our goal was to promote awareness and encourage healthy practices among school children through interactive learning sessions on the following areas:

1. Basic hygiene and personal cleanliness
2. Healthy eating habits and balanced nutrition
3. Importance of physical activity and play
4. Oral health and dental hygiene
5. Injury prevention and basic first aid management

ধারনা করা হচ্ছে আগামী ৭২ ঘণ্টার মধ্যে আমরা বাংলাদেশের ইতিহাসে সবচেয়ে বিধ্বংসী বন্যার সাক্ষী হতে যাচ্ছি! কাপ্তাই হ্রদের (চট্টগ্রাম) পানি বিপদসীমার ওপরে বাড়ছে, কাপ্তাই বাঁধ খুলে দেয়া হতে পারে!
কাপ্তাই, রাঙ্গুনিয়া, রাউজান ও চট্টগ্রাম শহরের আশেপাশের নিচু এলাকার সকল বাসিন্দাকে নিরাপদ স্থানে সরে যাওয়ার জন্য অনুরোধ করা হয়েছে।
এই মুহুর্তে কাপ্তাই বাধের পানি 104 ফিট এ আছে, 109 হলে কাপ্তাই বাধও খুলে দিবে। প্রতি ১০০ পয়েন্টে ১ ইঞ্চি ধরা হয়, ঘন্টায় ৩০ পয়েন্ট করে পানি বৃদ্ধি পাচ্ছে।
ফারাক্কা বাঁধও খুব অল্প সময়ের মাঝে খুলে দিতে পারে।
ফেনী সম্পূর্ণ পানির নিচে,নোয়াখালীর অবস্থাও ধীরে ধীরে ভয়াবহ অবস্থার দিকে ধাবিত হচ্ছে।। হবিগঞ্জ, সিলেটের অবস্থা ক্রমশ অবনতির দিকে।

এ জাতিকে দমানো সোজা না। তোমরা আমাদের দাবায়ে রাখতে পারবা না। আরো একটা ষড়যন্ত্র ব্যর্থ করতে চলেছি।

আমাদের কলেজ এর এক সহপাঠীর ছোট বোনের অনেক দিন যাবত পেটের ভিতরে joint tumor এর সমস্যা নিয়ে অনেক বছর চলছে 😓
ওনার এই সমস্যার জন্য অপারেশন প্রয়োজন এবং অপারেশন এর জন্য অনেক টাকার দরকার ১৬ লক্ষ টাকার মতো😥
এই সমস্যাটা চাইলে আমরা কিছু সাহায্যের মাধ্যমে সমাধান করতে পারি!!
