Can’t wait, it’s going to be Nuts :-) The weekend of Dec 11-13 coincides with the annual Bastogne "Nuts" Commemoration. During the event, Bastogne transforms into a WWII living history encampment, complete with military parades and special displays across the area's museums. Rolley is an integral part of the broader program, which features visiting dignitaries and the active participation of soldiers and officers from the 101st Airborne Division.
From december 12 to 13 we will be portraying members of the HQ Company 502nd PIR at the Château de Rolley between Hemroulle and Champs (Bastogne).
There will be several displays inside and outside the grounds of the château. Inside the stables you'll be able to find a working Field kitchen, Aid Station and an IPW team interrogating POW's.
Next to the château there will be a small vehicle display.
Outside there will be several foxholes from both sides inside the woods.
