➡️ At the World Bank’s Centre for Financial Reporting Reform Forum, we move beyond compliance to focus on impact: how stronger financial reporting, auditing, and sustainability reporting frameworks help build trust, attract investment, support business growth, create jobs across the region, and protect the environment.

➡️ During the sessions, the for SMEs Forum explored how transparent and reliable financial reporting can strengthen businesses, build trust with banks and investors, and improve access to finance across the Western Balkans.
➡️ Discussions highlighted that access to finance is not only about the availability of funds. SMEs also need clear financial information, sound management and the ability to demonstrate their business potential to secure investment and expand.

🤝 With 🇪🇺 EU support, REPARIS for SMEs helps strengthen financial reporting practices, improve cooperation between businesses, accountants and financial institutions, and prepare companies for opportunities in the EU Single Market. Better reporting means greater trust, more investment, stronger businesses and new opportunities for jobs and economic growth in the Western Balkans.
