7 October. We stand with Israel on this day of remembrance. 🇮🇱
Three years later, we remember the victims of the deadliest day for Jews since the Holocaust, the families torn apart, and the hostages who were taken. Civilians, young children, and peaceful families were the targets of Hamas’s barbaric and brutal terrorist attack.
There can be no moral ambiguity when it comes to terrorism. No justification for the deliberate murder and kidnapping of civilians. And no place in Europe for antisemitism disguised as political debate.
As YEPP, we must also confront the growing tide of verbal violence and hatred surrounding pro-Palestinian movements, as well as the dangerous spread of fake news and historical distortions about Israel, increasingly visible at European and American universities.
We will always stand against terrorism. We will always stand against antisemitism. And we will always work for a Middle East where peace and diplomacy can prevail.
