🇧🇪 Belgian Training Centre for Para-Commando's and members of Special Operations Regiment. 🇧🇪

trainingsactiviteiten.

🎉 Today our Centre celebrates its 79th anniversary 🎂

In 1942, the first Belgian volunteers started the Commando training at Achnacarry (Scotland) under the command of Captain Danloy to earn the coveted Green Beret!

In 1943, the Belgian Commandos were involved in the campaign of Italy, followed by Yugoslavia and Walcheren (the Netherlands) in 1944.

After the war, in 1945, the Commandos installed their training camp in Marche-les-Dames and it was officially called the Commando Training Centre in 1947.
