Islamabad Policy Research Institute and Sofia Security Forum conducted an online seminar and agreed to explore collaboration through joint research, exchange of publications, and joint events. The meeting was attended by Mr. Yordan Bozhilov (former Deputy Defence Minister and President of SSF), Professor Dr. Rumyana Marinova-Christidi (SSF), Director Research IPRI Brig.(R) Dr. Raashid Wali Janjua, Senior Research Fellow Amb. Asif Durrani (IPRI) and other team members.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has extended his heartiest congratulations to Dr. Velislava Petrova-Chamova on her appointment as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria.

In a congratulatory letter, the deputy prime minister expressed confidence that under her able leadership, Bulgarian diplomacy would continue to flourish and accomplish great feats.

He said that he looked forward to working closely with her to further strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation in multilateral fora.

On the sidelines of the UN Urban Forum in Baku, Chief Minister Punjab Ms Maryam Nawaz Sharif held cordial and constructive interactions with world leaders including Ms Iliana Iotova, President of the Republic of Bulgaria.
