On the 17th of July, B.E.YOU held its final Multiplier Event in Amposta – what a powerful and inspiring way to wrap up the journey! 🎉💼

Fundació Gentis held a special event where professionals, trainers, teachers, guidance counselors, and young people came together to discuss the core theme of the B.E.YOU project: how to improve youth employability in remote areas by strengthening their skills and entrepreneurial spirit. What a productive day it was! 💬🚀

Among other things, we discussed...

1️⃣ The most relevant soft, digital, and entrepreneurial skills needed to succeed in today’s job market.
2️⃣ Statistical data on Spain, Catalonia, and more specifically the Terres de l’Ebre region, which shed light on the current national and local situation.
3️⃣ Thought-provoking debates on the impact of rural limitations, especially when compared to urban areas.

Of course, we couldn’t miss a run-through of everything we've achieved during this time with Rural Rise– including our study visits, the methodology and curriculum we’ve developed, as well as good practices and our online training course designed to support young people on their journey toward meaningful employment. 🌱💻

This final event was not just a closing chapter, but a celebration of everything we've built together – and a reminder that the future of rural youth is full of potential. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, shared ideas, and helped shape this journey. Let’s carry forward the tools, the connections, and the motivation to keep empowering young people, wherever they are🌍.

On the 28th of June, В.E.YOU had its first ME - what an experience it was! 🚀

The ValueMe International Projects Hub's team mapped out every detail to make this event meaningful for unemployed youth and everyone eager to grow. We came together to tackle a crucial issue: how to strengthen the employability of young people from geographically remote areas by boosting their soft skills, digital know-how, and entrepreneurial mindset – exactly what the B.E.YOU project stands for.

We talked about the biggest challenges young people face today:
✅ Low employment rates & limited opportunities
✅ Entering the job market with confidence
✅ Building 21st-century skills that really matter
✅ Preparing for a meaningful career

We dived into the B.E.YOU results, unpacked the methodology and framework that guide young people towards real growth. At the we had a great informal conversation that was really meaningful to understand the impact.

The B.E.YOU project may finish in August, but the mission of empowering youth is far from over. 🌍✨

Greetings to all👋! We have great news about our project, directly coming from Spain.

On January 21st we held an F2F training in Amposta, Terres de l'Ebre, Catalonia. This face-to-face training session, which was held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m, was attended by 12 young people and 12 counselors.

The session was very useful to share experiences, acquire practical skills and build a community support network. Similarly...

🌱We presented the B.E.YOU project
❄️We had icebreaker activities to get to know each other
🧑‍💻We introduced our online training
👥There were group dynamics in which we analyzed the needs of the territory: skills, entrepreneurship, opportunities in the labor market...

We had an amazing time and, most importantly, we learned a lot. Stay tuned!

This comprehensive training package is designed to equip young adults with the essential skills to manage remote work and lead virtual teams effectively. It offers Methodology for face-to-face and Curricula for F2F and online training tailored for both face-to-face and online training, ensuring a versatile learning experience.

By engaging with this program, participants will:

Hello, everyone🙋🏻‍♀️! After a few months of work on the Rural Rise: Boosting Youth Employment in Countryside (B.E.YOU) project, we present you our first newsletter📰. Have a look and learn a little more about who ValueMe and Gentis are, our goals, what have we done so far... and a lot more!

On June 17th and 18th, in Gentis we met with our partners from ValueMe, Bulgaria, on the occasion of the second study visit of the B.E.YOU project✈️🌱. Our respective local partners also participated: Terram Cooperative, La Sénia City Council, Amposta City Council and representatives of the Gotse Delchev municipality.

Both entities had the opportunity to present emblematic practices of non-formal education, as well as to discuss the online and face-to-face methodology of our future training with the aim of the dynamization of young people in rural areas🧒🏼👧🏻. In the same way, we were welcomed at Barcelona Activa, a youth service of the Economy and Economic Promotion area of the Barcelona City Council that promotes quality employment, entrepreneurial initiatives and business competitiveness👷🏻. Thank you for having us!

In our visits to our members and their local entities carried out in early April, Gentis Foundation was lucky enough to visit the Montsià youth office, with the Amposta City Council, and the Sénia Jove, with the collaboration of the La Sénia City Council and the Terram Cooperative🌱.

Gentis was able to learn first-hand about the great initiatives that are carried out in these spaces, where young people👧🏻🧒🏼 are advised on any topic that may interest them. We also found an extensive free program for young people in the municipalities: for example, they offer a workshop to strengthen personal skills, which enhance their strengths with the aim of achieving personal goals and challenges. During the year they have their calendar📆 full of training actions that will improve your CV and information sessions that will provide you with all the existing mechanisms so that you know what to do in your future as well🌟.

From here we encourage you to go and visit them. You will feel at home🏠, just like we did!
