Bevor unsere große Jubiläumssaison beginnt, gönnen sich die Mitglieder von Faun eine Auszeit an verschiedenen Orten. Hier sind ein paar Wintergrüße von Oliver:

ZEIT ZUM TRÄUMEN

"Die Welt dreht sich immer schneller.
Auch Bands müssen ständig die Algorythmen füttern und Songs und Alben veröffentlichen, um zu überleben. Leider wirkt sich das negativ auf die Musik aus. Deshalb bin ich sehr dankbar, dass ich diesem Hamsterrad für zwei Monate entfliehen konnte.

Ich habe mich in einer einfachen Hütte im asiatischen Dschungel zurückgezogen.
Ich bin selten im Internet, mache viel Yoga, schwimme, lese und mache Musik. Vor allem nehme ich mir die Zeit zu träumen.

Träume sind sehr fragil und wichtig um in dieser verrückten Welt zu überleben.
Daher bin ich in höchstem Grade für diese Auszeit dankbar und hoffe, dass sie dabei helfen wird Fauns Musik mit Magie und Inspiration zu füllen.“

the members of Faun are taking a break in various locations. Here are some holiday greetings from Oliver:

TIME TO DREAM

"The world is becoming increasingly fast-paced.
Also bands have to constantly feed the algorithm and release songs and albums to be able to survive. Unfortunately, this has a negative impact on the music. That's why I'm very grateful that I was able to escape this rat race for two months.

I went on a retreat in a simple hut in the jungle of Asia. I'm rarely on the internet, I do a lot of yoga, swim, read, and make music. Above all, I take the time to dream.

dreams are very fragile
and so important for surviving in this crazy world.
so i am very thankful for the possibility to have this time off
and hope that it will help to
keep fauns music full
of magick and inspiration.“

For centuries, the Habsburgs relied on strategic marriages to keep power consolidated within the family, believing that political stability was worth the genetic risk.

Cousin marriages were common, and over generations this created a tightly closed gene pool that magnified inherited traits. By the time Maria Antonia of Austria was born in 1669, the dynasty had already accumulated centuries of intermarriage, making her coefficient of inbreeding, 0.3053, an extreme but predictable outcome of a long‑running royal strategy.

This level of genetic concentration didn’t just produce famous physical features like the “Habsburg jaw”; it also contributed to declining health, infertility, and the eventual weakening of the dynasty.

The most dramatic example was Charles II of Spain, whose severe health problems and inability to produce an heir triggered a major European succession crisis. Maria Antonia’s unusually high coefficient is a stark reminder of how political decisions made over generations can shape the fate of an entire royal house and ultimately help bring it to an end.

At that time, Mañjuśrī Bodhisattva asked Foremost Worthy Bodhisattva, “Son of the Buddha, it is by resort to but a single path that all buddhas, the bhagavats, gained emancipation. Why then does one now see that, in all buddha lands, there are many differences in all their aspects? For instance, there are differences in each of their worlds, their realms of beings, their teaching of Dharma, their training of others, their life spans, their radiance, their spiritual superknowledges, their congregations, their means of teaching, and the duration of their Dharma. Even so, there are none of them who do not perfect all dharmas of a buddha and realize anuttara-samyaksaṃbodhi.”

At that time, Foremost Worthy Bodhisattva responded with verses, saying:

Mañjuśrī, the Dharma is forever just so.
The Dharma Kings have but one Dharma.
All of those who are free of obstacles
use one path to escape from saṃsāra.

The body of all buddhas
is but their one Dharma body.
They have one mind and one wisdom.
And, as for the powers and the fearlessness—these too are just so.

These accord with all their thoughts of dedication established when they originally set out toward bodhi
by which they then acquired such kṣetra lands
and congregations as well as such ways of teaching the Dharma.

All the buddha kṣetras
are perfectly complete in all their adornments.
It is in accordance with differences in the practices of beings
that there are such differences in what they see.

The buddha kṣetra and the buddha body,
the congregations, and their discourses—
Dharmas of the buddhas such as these
are such that no beings would be able to see them.

Once their minds have already become purified
and their vows have all been completely fulfilled—
A person with penetrating clarity such as this
would then become capable of beholding this.

It is in accordance with the mental dispositions of beings
and the power inherent in the fruits of their karmic actions
that they see differences such as these.
This occurs because of the Buddha’s awesome spiritual powers.

The buddha kṣetras are free of discriminations
and they have no dislikes and have no fondness,
They merely adapt to the minds of beings.
It is in this way that differences are perceived.

It is because of this that, in the world,
what each one sees is different.
It is not a matter of there being any mistake
on the part of any of the tathāgatas, the great rishis.

Within all worlds,
those who should receive instruction
always see the Hero Among Men.
The Dharma of all buddhas is just like this.
