The new commandment of the Ministry of Health of Bulgaria No. RD-01-405 of July 15, 2020 has been released. What's new:
Bulgaria freely lets citizens from Algeria, Australia, Canada, Georgia, Japan, Morocco, New Zealand, Republic of Rwanda, Republic of Korea, Kingdom of Thailand, Republic of Tunisia, Eastern Republic of Uruguay, Ukraine into the territory (without quarantine and tests for COVID-19)
For other countries, those who still have a residence permit / permanent residence permit / long-term residence and their family members are still allowed into Bulgaria. Before arrival, we advise you to do a PCR test (valid for 72 hours) so as not to sit in a two-week isolation.

"A foreigner with prolonged residence permit in the Republic of Bulgaria, whose term comes to an end during the declared state of emergency (until April 13), may apply for an extension of status in the 14-day period after the abolition of the state of emergency. Foreigners who has residence cards in Bulgaria that expire during the state of emergency (who are unable to enter Bulgaria due to the last circumstances) can enter the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria without a visa within 14 days after the lifting of the state of emergency. ”
