🌟🥭⚽ The Great Mango Football Festival 2026 ⚽🥭🌟

H.E. Ambassador Dato’ Shazryll Zahiran, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Kingdom of Bahrain, attended the inauguration of The Great Mango Football Festival 2026 at Al Jazira Supermarket on 4 June 2026, alongside fellow Heads of Mission, diplomats, and distinguished guests.

The festival celebrates the rich diversity and cultural significance of mangoes from around the world, fostering friendship and engagement among participating countries. Visitors were treated to an impressive showcase of 55 premium mango varieties from India 🇮🇳, Thailand 🇹🇭, Sri Lanka 🇱🇰, and Colombia 🇨🇴, offering a delightful journey of unique flavours, vibrant colours, and enticing aromas.

🇲🇾🥭 We look forward to the day when Malaysia’s renowned Harum Manis mango reaches the shelves of Bahrain, allowing both Bahrainis and expatriates to savour one of Malaysia’s most treasured tropical delights.

His Excellency Ambassador Dato’ Shazryll Zahiran signed the condolence book at the Embassy of Yemen on 3 June 2026 in honour of the late former President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi, extending Malaysia’s deepest condolences and sincere sympathies to the Government and people of Yemen following his passing on 28 May 2026.

His Excellency Ambassador Dato’ Shazryll Zahiran had the honour to undertake a courtesy call on His Excellency Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives of the Kingdom of Bahrain, on 20 May 2026.

During the meeting, His Excellency Ambassador reaffirmed the strong and longstanding relations between Malaysia and the Kingdom of Bahrain, and conveyed appreciation for the continued cooperation between both countries across various sectors. Discussions also underscored the important role of parliamentary diplomacy in enhancing bilateral engagement and strengthening coordination at regional and international parliamentary platforms.

His Excellency Ambassador further expressed Malaysia’s commitment to deepening collaboration with the Council of Representatives in advancing economic, cultural, and parliamentary ties between the two nations.

🌐 World Telecommunication and Information Society Day (WTISD) is celebrated every year on 17 May to commemorate the founding of the International Telecommunication Union in 1865, marked by the signing of the first International Telegraph Convention in Paris.In today’s interconnected world, resilient digital infrastructure — including terrestrial networks, submarine cables, satellites, and data systems — has become an essential “digital lifeline” that supports communication, innovation, education, and economic growth. This year’s theme, “Digital Lifelines: Strengthening Resilience in a Connected World,” reminds us of the importance of secure, stable, and inclusive connectivity for a stronger future.

🌐 Hari Telekomunikasi dan Masyarakat Berinformasi Sedunia yang disambut pada setiap 17 Mei menekankan peranan penting telekomunikasi 🛜dalam menghubungkan komuniti global 🗺️. Sambutan ini turut memperingati penubuhan International Telecommunication Union pada tahun 1865 melalui pemeteraian Konvensyen Telegraf Antarabangsa pertama di Paris.

Dalam dunia yang semakin bergantung kepada kesalinghubungan 📡tanpa gangguan, rangkaian digital seperti kabel dasar laut, satelit, sistem data dan infrastruktur komunikasi menjadi “talian hayat digital” yang menyokong pembangunan ekonomi, pendidikan, inovasi dan kesejahteraan masyarakat.

Bertemakan “Talian Hayat Digital: Memperkukuh Ketahanan dalam Dunia yang Terhubung”, sambutan tahun ini memberi penekanan kepada kepentingan infrastruktur digital yang stabil, selamat dan inklusif sebagai pemacu kemajuan sosioekonomi serta kesejahteraan masyarakat sejagat.
