On the 103rd birth anniversary of legendary filmmaker Mrinal Sen, we remember one of the greatest pioneers of Indian parallel cinema.
His films reflected the struggles, realities, and resilience of the underprivileged and marginalized sections of society. Through his powerful storytelling and socially consciousness, he left a lasting impact on Indian and world cinema.
Sharing a rare moment from the sets of Mrigayaa — a film that also went on to win a National Award under his remarkable direction.

Proud moment for Bongo Sanskriti
We were honoured to be a part of the India in Bahrain Festival organized by the Embassy of India at Dana Mall on 6th February.
From the vibrant rhythms of Bengal folk to the sweetness of traditional Bengali sweets, and the elegance of handcrafted sarees — we showcased a glimpse of Bengal’s rich cultural heritage.
Grateful to the Embassy of India for this wonderful opportunity to celebrate our roots and share our culture with the community in Bahrain.
