Il 5 giugno 1814 nasceva l’Arma dei Carabinieri. Nel celebrarne il 212° Anniversario l’Ambasciata d’Italia a Manama rende omaggio a una Istituzione che da oltre due secoli rappresenta un pilastro dello Stato italiano, al servizio della sicurezza dei cittadini, della legalità e della coesione nazionale.

Con dedizione, professionalità e spirito di sacrificio, i Carabinieri operano quotidianamente in Italia e all’estero, incarnando valori di fedeltà, coraggio e vicinanza alle comunità.

A tutte le donne e gli uomini dell’Arma, in particolare ai militari qui in servizio a tutela dell’Ambasciata d’Italia, va il nostro più sentito ringraziamento per il loro impegno al servizio del Paese. 🙏🇮🇹

On June 5, 1814, the Carabinieri Corps was founded. On the occasion of its 212th Anniversary, the Embassy of Italy in Manama pays tribute to an Institution that for over two centuries has been a cornerstone of the Italian State, serving the security of citizens, the rule of law, and national cohesion.

With dedication, professionalism, and spirit of sacrifice, the Carabinieri serve daily in Italy and abroad, embodying values of loyalty, courage, and closeness to communities.

Damiano Caruso has decided to remain with the team even beyond his racing career. At the end of his final Giro d’Italia, he signed an agreement that will allow him to continue contributing his experience, leadership, and support to the team and his teammates, as he already demonstrated during his last Giro, where he played a key role in supporting the young rider Afonso Eulálio. 🤝🏻🔥

The agreement marks a significant step forward in strengthening the economic and commercial ties between Italy and Bahrain, helping to build ever stronger partnerships. 🤝

Quest’ultima edizione di uno degli eventi sportivi più amati d’Italia si è conclusa con la vittoria del ciclista danese Jonas Vingegaard, che completa così la prestigiosa Tripla Corona, dopo i successi al Tour de France e alla Vuelta a España. 🏆
Ma questo Giro ha regalato importanti emozioni anche al Team Bahrain Victorious: il giovane atleta Afonso Eulalio ha conquistato la maglia bianca come miglior giovane in gara, traguardo già raggiunto dal Team nel 2024 grazie al ciclista italiano Antonio Tiberi.🏅
Ad accompagnare e supportare Eulalio, soprattutto lungo la tappa finale, c’era il compagno di squadra Damiano Caruso, all’ultimo Giro d’Italia della sua carriera. Un gesto che rappresenta chiaramente i valori più autentici dello sport e del ciclismo: spirito di squadra, dedizione e rispetto. 🤝🏻

This latest edition of one of Italy’s most beloved sporting events saw the victory of Danish cyclist Jonas Vingegaard, who completed the prestigious Triple Crown, after the successes at the Tour de France and the Vuelta a España. 🏆
This Giro also brought important emotions for Team Bahrain Victorious: young rider Afonso Eulalio claimed the White Jersey as the race’s best young rider, an achievement already reached by the Team in 2024 thanks to Italian cyclist Antonio Tiberi. 🏅
Accompanying and supporting Eulalio, especially during the final stage, was his teammate Damiano Caruso, competing in the last Giro d’Italia of his career. A gesture that clearly embodies the most authentic values of sport and cycling: teamwork, dedication, and respect. 🤝🏻

Dallo Stretto di Messina alle acque del Golfo Arabico 🇮🇹🇧🇭

La storica Stretto Swim, l’iconica traversata dello Stretto di Messina, continua a ispirare atleti di endurance in tutto il mondo e trova oggi un riflesso in eventi gemelli come la Khalid bin Hamad Swimming Challenge 2026.

Tra le imprese più significative spicca la traversata di 44,5 km compiuta dal nuotatore bahreinita Abdulla Attiya, che ha collegato l’Arabia Saudita al Bahrein lungo il percorso denominato “Challenge di Sua Altezza lo Sceicco Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa”, un evento che rievoca l’analoga impresa realizzata da Sua Altezza nel 2014. 🏅🔥

Queste prove di resistenza rappresentano non solo un traguardo sportivo, ma anche un simbolo di unità: due Paesi, due mari, accomunati dal medesimo desiderio di superare i propri limiti, dimostrando forza, determinazione e il potere universale dello sport. 🌊💪

From the Strait of Messina to the waters of the Arabian Gulf 🇮🇹🇧🇭

The historic Stretto Swim, the iconic crossing of the Strait of Messina, is now reflected in sister events such as the Khalid bin Hamad Swimming Challenge 2026.

Equally inspiring is the honorable accomplishment of Abdullah Al-Sayed Atiyah Abdullah Ali, Chairman of the Bahrain Water Sports Federation, and Luay bin Abdulwahid Tashkandi, Vice Chairman of the Saudi Swimming Federation, who successfully swam from Saudi Arabia to Bahrain along the route named “Challenge of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa” — commemorating His Highness’s similar feat in 2014.
Two countries, two seas, united by the same desire to push beyond their limits, showing strength and resilience through sport. 🌊💪
