En date du 22 Novembre 2016,L'Assistante du Ministre de l'Education,de l'Enseignement Supérieur et Recherche Scientifique avec le secrétaire Général de la Commission Nationale du Burundi pour UNESCO ont rehaussé de leur présence les cérémonies de lancement du projet:"Sensibilisation et Formation des professeurs d'Education Physique et Sportive à la lutte antidopage en milieu scolaire "dans la province de Gitega
ce projet avait pour objectif de sensibiliser et renforcer les capacités de 120 professeurs d'Education Physique et des Sports des écoles fondamentales et Post -Fondamentales du Pays sur la lutte antidopage en milieu Scolaire.
Notons également que ce projet a été éxécuté dans 4régions du pays à savoir:Centre-Est(Gitega,du22-24 nov2016),Nord(Ngozi,du 28-30Novembre2016,Ouest(Bujumbura-Mairie,du12-14décembre2016)et sud(Rumonge du 27-29 décembre2016).
La paricipation a été massive.
Le Projet a été financé par l'UNESCO dans le cadre de son programme de Participation Biennum 2016-2017 à travers la commission Nationale du Burundi pour UNESCO pour le Grand Programme III de l'UNESCO:Sciences Humaines et Sociales

On 22th November 2016, the Assistant to the Minister of Education, Higher Education and Scientific Research, with the Secretary General of the National Commission of Burundi for UNESCO, increased the presence of the Project launching ceremonies: Awareness and Training of Teachers of Physical Education and Sport in the fight against doping in schools "in the Province of Gitega.
The objective of the project was to sensitize and strengthen the capacities of 120 Physical Education and Sports Teachers in the country's fundamental and post-basic schools on anti-doping in schools.
The project was carried out in four regions of the country: Central-East (Gitega, November 22-24 th2016), North (Ngozi, November 28-30 th2016), West November (December Bujumbura -Mairie, 12-14 th2016) and South (Rumonge, December 27-29th 2016). Participation was massive.
The project was financed by UNESCO within the framework of its Program of Participation Biennium 2016-2017 through the National Commission of Burundi for UNESCO for the Major Program III of UNESCO: Humanities and Social Sciences.

Promotion culturelle: Recueils des contes, proverbes, devinettes et énigmes en Kirundi
Durant les mois de Mars et Avril 2015, les membres de l’Association LIGUE RUREMESHA en collaboration avec le Secrétariat de la Commission Nationale du Burundi pour l’UNESCO ont effectué une mission de travail dans les provinces de MAKAMBA, GITEGA, CANKUZO afin de recueillir des éléments culturels à savoir : les contes, devinettes, proverbes et énigmes en Kirundi véhiculant des valeurs traditionnelles positives auprès des détenteurs praticiens.
Ce projet a pour objectif de sauvegarder le patrimoine culturel immatériel national menacé de disparition. Les éléments recueilli sont enregistrés et produit sous forme de support pédagogique audiovisuel destiné à éduquer la jeunesse aux valeurs traditionnelles positive.
Le projet a été financé par l’UNESCO dans son Programme de Participation bienium 2014-2015 par le biais de la Commission Nationale du Burundi pour l’UNESCO (CNU).
Le projet rentre dans le cadre du Grand Programme IV de l’UNESCO qui est la Culture.

Cultural advancement: Collection of stories, proverbs, riddles, and puzzles in Kirundi.
During the months of March and April 2015, the members of the Association LIGUE RUREMESHA cooperating with the Secretary of the National Commission of Burundi for UNESCO performed in the provinces of MAKAMBA, GITEGA, and CANKUZO the collection of cultural elements as: tales, riddles, proverbs, and puzzles in Kirundi which are conveying positive traditional values.
The project’s objective is to preserve the national immaterial cultural heritage which is endangered to disappear. The collected elements are saved and produced as a means of audiovisual pedagogic support which is meant to educate the youth in the positive traditional values.
The project was funded by the UNESCO within the biennial participation program 2014-2015 of the UNESCO via the National Commission of Burundi for the UNESCO (CNU).
The project was conducted within the framework of the Grand Program IV of the UNESCO: Culture.

Atelier de formation et de sensibilisation des femmes leaders en association sur la gestion rationnelle des polluants organiques persistants (POPs)
Le projet a été financé par l’UNESCO dans son Programme de Participation bienium 2014-2015 via la Commission Nationale du Burundi sur demande de l'Association Force Chrétienne pour le Développement intégré (FCDI).
L’objectif du projet est la contribution à la protection de la santé de la population et de l’environnement contre les impacts négatifs des Polluants Organiques Persistants (POPs).
150 femmes leaders regroupées en association dans les Provinces de BUBANZA et CIBITOKE ont bénéficiées de la formation et de la sensibilisation sur la gestion rationnelle des polluants organiques persistants (POPs)
Le projet était réalisé en cadre du Grand Programme II de l’UNESCO: Sciences exactes et naturelles.

Training and Sensitization group workshop for female leaders on the sound management of Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs)
The project’s objective is a contribution to health and environment protection against negative impacts of Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs).
The project was funded within the biennial participation program 2014-2015 of the UNESCO via the National Commission of Burundi for the UNESCO (CNU) on demand of the Christian Force Association for an Integrated Development (FCDI).
150 female leaders that were united in the provinces of BUBANZA and CIBITOKE have profited of the Education and Sensitization workshop.
The project was conducted within the framework of the Grand Program II of the UNESCO: Natural Sciences.

Initiation des jeunes scolarisés aux Nouvelles Technologies de l’Information et de la Communication dans la Province KIRUNDO

En date du 27 Mars 2015, le Secrétaire Permanent de la Commission Nationale du BURUNDI pour l’UNESCO a rehaussé de sa présence les cérémonies de l’ouverture du projet :"Initiation des jeunes scolarisés aux Nouvelles Technologies de l’Information et de la Communication".
Ce projet avait pour objectif de fournir aux jeunes filles et jeunes gens en chômage les connaissances de base en informatique.
Le projet a été financé par l’UNESCO dans son Programme de Participation bienium 2014-2015 via la Commission Nationale du Burundi pour l’UNESCO (CNU) sur demande de l’Association des Etudiants des Lacs du Nord (A.E.L.N.).
Le projet rentre dans le cadre du Grand Programme IV de l’UNESCO: Communication et Information.

On 27 March 2015, the Permanent Secretary of the National Commission of BURUNDI for UNESCO was honoring by his presence the opening ceremony of the project: “Introduction of young graduates to the New Technologies of Information and Communication”.
The project’s objective is the provision of basic knowledge in Information Sciences to young unemployed people.
The project was funded within the biennial participation program 2014-2015 of the UNESCO via the National Commission of Burundi for the UNESCO (CNU) on demand of the Students’ Association of the Great Lakes (A.E.L.N.).
The project was conducted within the framework of the Grand Program IV of the UNESCO: Communication and Information.

En 2014, le Secrétariat Permanent de la Commission Nationale a organisée en collaboration avec l'Association les REBECAS un atelier sur le thème " Formation en Techniques de communication en langue des signes à l'intention du personnel enseignant et de la supervision des écoles pilotes d'inclusion scolaire dans l'enseignement primaire" (22-26 septembre 2014), financé par l'UNESCO dans son Programme de Participation 2014-2015.
Cet atelier avait pour objectif de promouvoir le droit d'égalité d'accès à l'éducation pour tous par l'inclusion scolaire et communautaire des enfants déficients auditifs. En effet 30 enseignants et 30 directeurs des écoles primaires pilotes ont été formés et préparés pour enseigner et encadrer les enfants handicapés auditifs, dans les structures scolaires existantes.
L'impact de ce projet a été le démarrage de 30 écoles pilotes d'inclusion scolaire des enfants sourds-muets dans l'enseignement de base public. A cette occasion les enfants sourds-muets déjà identifiés, ont été accueilli dans ces écoles pendant l'année scolaire 2014-2015.

In 2014, the Permanent Secretary of the National Commission organized a workshop on the “Training in Communication Techniques in Sign Language provided to Teaching and Supervising staff of Pilot Schools for Inclusion in Primary Education”, in cooperation with the Association REBECAS. The workshop took place from 22 to 26 September 2014 and was funded by the UNESCO within its participation program 2014-2015.
The workshop’s objective was to promote the right for equality concerning the access to education for all through inclusion of children with hearing deficits in school and community. Overall, 30 instructors and 30 directors of pilot primary schools were trained and prepared for teaching and integrating the children with hearing handicaps into the existing education structures.
The impact of the project was the kick-off of 30 pilot schools of inclusion of deaf-mute children into the basic public school system. At this occasion, already identified deaf-mute children enrolled in these schools for the school year of 2014-2015.
