St. George's Foundation chairman Peter Barrett and Dr. Ian Walker, Principal Curator of the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum and Zoo supported by Bermuda Zoological Society joined Professor Mike Jarvis at Smith's Island over the weekend to clear a portion of land to be surveyed with Ground Penetrating Radar in the hopes of discovering new facts about Bermuda’s early settlers. This is part of the Smith's Island Archeology Project which began in 2012 and continues this summer. If you are interested in being part of the project, please email [email protected].
