As a young person in this country, I am deeply disappointed in the PLP Governmentโ€™s failure to provide clear answers and accountability regarding the troubling money-related aircraft crash incident and the reported association of a sitting MP with the findings.

Bahamians, especially our youth, deserve transparency, integrity, and leadership that protects the reputation and future of our nation. Silence and inaction only erode public trust. We demand the truth, accountability, and responsible governance.

Residents of Bain and Grants Town, more help is on the way for our community. Jay Philippe pledges to bring real relief to the people who need it most through the distribution of building supplies and continued community support.

This young man was raised in this community and truly has the best interest of the people at heart. Together, we can rebuild homes, restore hope, and create a stronger future for Bain and Grants Town.

Bain and Grants Town, we hear you and we feel the pressure youโ€™re under. With gas now at $7 per gallon across The Bahamas, everyday life has become harder for so many families. That is why we are stepping up again bringing real relief through gas assistance to help ease the burden.

I, Jay Philippe, made a commitment to this community not just with words, but with action. And today, that commitment continues. I will not stand by while my people struggle. I will continue to invest in you, support you, and stand with you through these challenging times.

This is bigger than politics, this is about people. This is about heart. This is about home.

Bain and Grants Town, I pledge to continue giving, to continue serving, and to continue committing everything in me to the community that raised me. Brighter days are ahead and we will get there together.

Bain and Grants Town cannot move forward if we leave our young people behind.

I am Jay Philippe, and I believe our youth must come first โ€” not later, not someday, but now. They are the heartbeat of this community, the future leaders, the next generation that will either carry us forward or be held back by our inaction.

For too long, they have been overlooked. No more.

We must invest in them โ€” in education, in opportunities, in mentorship, in hope. Because when our young people rise, Bain and Grants Town rises with them.

This is how we evolve. This is how we win.
